From what I can tell, in most lifestyle relationships, the submissive generally refers to his/her owner by a title. Something along the lines of Mistress/Master/Lady/Lord/Mommy/Daddy etc, etc. I, however, call my Owner by her first name. The only reason I refer to her as, "my Owner" on here is so I can respect her privacy and not use her first name...and because she personally detests the title Mistress. I will respectfully use "Ma'am" when I want her to know that I'm deathly serious, but that's a rarity. She only uses my first name, however, around family. I'm fox 99% of the time and I refer to myself as such in her company. Anywho, I think it's probably a little out of the norm for me to primarily use her first name...so, I just wanted to see if:

A. Does anybody else call their owner by her/his first name?

B. If not, then what do you call her/him?

Thought it might make a semi-interesting topic. :-p

I call him Gary, or Sir, or Sweetheart, or A**hole....whichever is most appropriate for the situation.

Heh, for some reason, i always found people's take of titles interesting. To be honest, i don't care either way - but for some reason, it's always hard for me to use the first name of someone who Dominates me. (Have yet to figure out why.) Generally speaking, i'll leave off any title, if it's not my owner, they're likely to be referred to as Sir or Ma'am.

However, if/when i am Owned again, i will just call my Owner whatever He wants to be called, whether it be Sir or Master. It's all about pleasing them, after all. But...yeah... first names are a weird thing with me. *shrug*

The only time i use His first name is around "some" of the family...even then most of them are used to me saying: Sir

I call Him Master......

I call Him You EVIL FUCK!

I call Him an Evil Rat Bastid....(my own personal slang on that)

What i call Him depends on what we are talking about at the time. When He calls me i answer the phone hi Hon,babes or anything else that comes out of my mouth at the time. Other times i call him Sir or Master. Just depends with us on what is going on at the time.

Most of the time I call him Daddy...

When we are talking about business in a way that we are conversing without our dynamic as part of the conversation... such as I talk about my job or whatever.. I often call him by his given name.. or in front of family I will often call him by his first name..

When I am asking for something, or relating to him in a submissive mindset, I call him Daddy.. and I think of him as "Daddy" all the time.

I only call my Mistress by her first name on rare occasions. Around family, I use her name when nothing else will do. Usually, I can avoid using it at all, but she will allow me to use it as needed when my family is around.

When we are alone, she is always either Ma'am or Mistress. On very rare occasions, I may be asked to use her name. It's on her whim, though, not mine. Also, her first name is often used as a sort of safe word, in critical situations. It's my way of letting her know when I'm in over my head. To date, I've never used it this way.

I call him by his first name, or a pet name, unless he has given me an order in which case I use Sir or Master to indicate that I understood it wasn't idle conversation or a passing comment. I will also address him formally if I am asking for something, so he knows I am asking him as my owner and that I will respect any decision he makes.

Yes. Sometimes i will say "yes Sir" but usually it's His fiarst name.

I call my Master by His 1st name sometimes...but mostly its Master...

It's rare we use titles- generally they are used to quickly indicate what headspace they are in. Otherwise, all first names.

Yup. He gets annoyed if I call him anything else too much. Athough I may call him "honey" more than his name. Really couldn't say for sure.

Mistress is my Babygirl. I also call Her things like Babydoll, Sweetheart, Angel Eyes, and my Goddess, but She is and will always be Mistress.

I rarely use Her first name, unless I'm serious about something.

my owner and i have names that we have chosen; i usually call him by his, and rarely call him by his given name. we have just discussed my calling him "master" or "sir," but that's a relatively new phenomenon.

I call Him Sir or Master when we are playing/scening.
When talking about Him to friends or family I use His first name.
In private it's Darling or Darl, Sweetheart, Honey or Hon, or Grand Poobah Best Master in the Whole World....Sir

Outsiders are not included in our personal dynamics, so the girl learns early to *always* use my name in front of others - with one exception being lifestyle gatherings.

Other than that, she takes her cues from me. IE, if she senses I'm in a mood, esp over something she's done, my only name is "SIR" on those occasions. Though I'm fine with her using my name when we're relaxing informally, practise has shown "SIR" becomes a preferred "pet name" rather than the usual expected term of respect. Mind you, I'm very conscious about it not becoming a mark of disrespect when she's playful, too! Ouch!

We generally use first names or pets names. Like he just walked out here and said "hey pook" so I said "hey hun". We're more comfortable that way.

I almost never call him by his first name when I'm speaking to him. It is always Sir or Daddy, and recently I've started to call him Master in our most intimate moments.

I call call him by his first name whenever I speak about him, unless it is a lifestyle person that knows I call him Daddy or Sir.

In my previous relationship it depended on the circumstances, but a First Name basis was very well accepted:)
