TwiztdErotic -> Eternal Fire? (12/3/2007 8:27:54 AM)

I've come across a few references to eternal fire and what it is on these forums. however, searching the term both here and on google hasn't turned up much information. Can anyone point me towards some resources? I don't plan on trying it any time soon, but I am curious as to how it would be done.

hmm..I've requested this info twice and twice I've received nothing. perhaps I've just gotta experiment myself and create my own resources.

I feel like I have the internal fire sometimes when I have Indian food that's too spicy.  Is that what you mean?

I've only seen one poster on these boards (other than you) who has ever made a reference to this type of play...which is essentially turning a person into a human candle. Maybe you should contact that poster directly.

I certainly will. I'll probably create a webpage on it since there seems to be a lack of information.

Erm, care to reference where you've seen it written about?  I'd never heard the term till you mentioned it.

There's a brief description of it in a thread titled 'fire play'. If you search the forums a few other threads come up as well.

Can't say I have ever heard of it on the forums until now. Where did you see it?

eternal fire is a form of fire play. its a mix of wax and fire. without going into to much detail basically you turn a person into a human candle. when done correctley the person can stay on fire continusley for up to 45 minutes. its really nice to read a book by candle light expecially when the candle is a loved one. no wicks just add wax and 70% alachol set on fire and read. the peson feels nothing but warmth.

Never heard of it but it sounds like they provide a pretty good defination there. Are you looking for a how-to?

Stephann -> RE: Eternal Fire? (12/3/2007 3:42:38 PM)

Honestly,

The guy who wrote about it in that particular thread sounded a bit like a kook to me.

From his profile:

I was formally trained 15 years ago.

At 31, that's a bold claim.  Couple that with the 48 BDSM related activities he claimed to be an 'Expert' in (including electro play, fire play, canes, public play, and vacuum stimulation) either he's one of the youngest and most advanced players living, or a legend in his own mind.

Why not write him, and ask?

Stephan

If you consider mixing wax and alcohol a good definition. I know I certainly wouldn't wanna be the subject of this type of play if that's the only info the person conducting this scene had to go on, would you?

Stephan brings up a good point, though. I'd be upset to find out this has all been a bunch of bs. I will message him, though. Just might have to experiment on a relatively insensitive part of my own body first, If I decide to try it at all. For now it's just a curiosity.

This was the best overview on fireplay I could come up with.

http://www.rubelpresents.com/Handout_Fireplay.doc

My (admittedly inexperienced) exposure to fireplay has never included anything like what you've come across.  I don't doubt that it exists, but I highly doubt it's practiced outside of hollywood stuntmen.

Thanks Stephan.

Unfortunately, in order to view the .doc file on my linux box I've either got to spend the next 20 minutes compiling software from source or deal with the fact that half of it appears corrupted. Frankly, I don't feel like compiling anything at the moment. So, I'll have to settle for half of the best overview on fireplay.

I didn't say I thought it was a good idea. I said it sounded like they gave a good defination of what it was. There is a rather considerable difference. I clearly didn't consider that enough instruction, otherwise I wouldn't have asked if you were looking for a how-to.

TwiztdErotic -> RE: Eternal Fire? (12/3/2007 4:46:44 PM)

You and your semantics. yes, I was looking for a how-to.

Muttling -> RE: Eternal Fire? (12/3/2007 4:50:11 PM)

I strongly suggest you have a pan or bucket of water handy in your experimentation.  The engineer in me has bull shit alarms ringing all over the place.

What happens to the loved one at 46 minutes?
