MzMia -> Waiting for our first snow, who already has it? (12/4/2007 9:11:15 PM)

I am a bit excited, we are expecting our first snow in about 6-8 hours.
We are expecting 1-2 inches of snow.
That may not seem like much, but since we are around # 2 when it comes to
traffic congestion, snow tends to put the D.C. area in a tailspin.
Literally
Well call me a dreamer, but I look forward to seeing the first flakes and I look forward
to many warm night watching the bright snow fall on a dark winter night.

For those of you that already have snow, are you enjoying it?
[sm=mrpuffy.gif]<--Mia waiting for snow.  BUT not looking forward to driving in it.

Chicago here.  3 to 5 inches expected tonight.  And my dogs are loving it!

Chicago seems to be hit hard early as usual.
I like a little snow, I don't think I would enjoy THAT much snow.
Glad the dogs are enjoying it.

Had our first frost this morning... does that count?

You'd think after almost 10 years i could get nostalgic about it, but i still don't miss snow at all.

Your little dancing guy will be pretty well camoflaged in the snow... tell him to be careful! [:-]

1-2 inches of snow?  I don't think that will bury him.
I will tell him to be careful, he has to help me drive.

5-6 inches here in Toronto, the dog is loving it, hubby hates it, the kids like it and I like looking at it. We were sposed to get dumped on, but here we escaped the worst of it.
Looks like its gonna be a long cold one

5-6 in Toronto?
6-8 in Northern NJ?

December just started, looks like you will have a long winter.

Wait, winter does not start until 18 days from now!

Owner59 -> RE: Waiting for our first snow, who already has it? (12/4/2007 9:53:12 PM)

Funny thing is,the leaves just fell.At least 6 weeks later than usual. The longest fall in memory. It was nice though, with supper colors and clear weather.

To early to say that winter will be long or hard, though.Last year, there was almost no snow and it was mild. The snowmobile just sat.

I think you will be dusting off the snowmobile soon.
I think the NorthEast is going to see a lot of snow this year.
We will see, fasten your seatbelts, it is going to be a bumpy ride.

pretty close to a foot hereabouts, like it alot better than bitter cold. (It generally has to warm up to snow, I will let you work out why that is)
