The discussions in this thread is so freaking silly!!!!!!!

I don't care how many cartridges he was carrying or how many he fired.

Bottom line is the simple fact that she fired a small number of cartridges and her rounds consitently hit her target.   Thereby, nuetralizing the threat posed by her target.

It's not how many shells you can carry or can fire, it's all about how many of your bullets hit your targets.   She did a hell of a good job and the punk she shot wasn't nearly as good as she was.   That's what it takes to win in combat and she won.     She ROCKS

Is that a fact?  Interesting.  Anyway, it doesn't matter, because the bottom line is that she has a personal relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ.  If you have a personal relationship with your Savior, you can pretty much do whatever the fuck you want and just repent afterwards if it turns out to have been wrong.

If she wanted to play “war games” perhaps she could have gotten a few friends together and gone out paintball shooting.

I realize however, I am one of few who prefers prevention instead of; “what can we do to stop this now that all hell has broken loose”.

I don’t recall reading he shot at her directly, at all. Admittedly though, I have not read every article available on this.

Yeah but most people do not realize what the hell repent means. That would take work, and tracking the translations back. i agree that most use the word as justification for doing what the hell they want to do, and then just say sorry for it afterwards.

so, if youre in a room and someone comes in shooting, and you have a weapon that can stop them from killing more folks, youre going to wait til they shoot at you before stopping them?

and we are going to start assuming that anyone who complains about a program of any kind, school, missionary, sports etc.....should be watched/counseled/assumed to be a potential mass murderer?

i really think i must be misinterpreting what you are trying to convey here, because it seems you are trying to place the blame of this on someones shoulders besides the man that went nuts and murdered folks........

I'm also a former Federal Law Enforcement Officer

quote:

I was a NCO in the U.S. Coast Guard. I was not a commissioned officer.
What does an "upper age limit" for being commissioned have to do with anything? And how would that be germaine to the conversation?

If you had said that you were involved in law enforcement duties for the Coast Guard, a branch of the Federal Govenment, I wouldn't have said anything.

But you specifically claimed to be a Federal LEO, complete with capitalization, which is a civilian position.
And you have in the past claimed to be a Federal Agent, which is also not something an enlisted man in the service can legitimately claim to be.

Now you are tap dancing around to avoid admitting that you played semantics to puff up your resume.
That tap dancing includes accusing me of dodging service because I'm not signing up at age 55...more deception, if you did in fact know that no one signs up at that age.

What you did was no different than claiming to be a Medal of Honor winner, because you got a Good Conduct medal and felt 'honored'.

No different than claiming to be a Navy SEAL because you were in the Navy and once 'sealed' an envelope.

You enforced some federal laws, you were never a FLEO...if you were you would be drawing LEAP retirement, and you are not.

Your misfortune that you ran into someone who knows the difference.

Now get over it, and be proud of the fact that you served in the USCG... there is no need to pretend to be more than that.

No, it seems to me, by their own account, they knew he was coming. I would even say they knew who he was after. I find it strange, for someone who supposedly wanted to take out as many as he could, he only managed to hit just a few, and less of those actually died; espesially when there were 7000 to choose from. I’m saying, she didn’t just happen to be in the right place, at the right time; she planned it.

I believe that should be determined by what was actually said and any history that may be known by the people who it is being said to. (They did know who he was.) I would think though, by the time someone starts shooting at people, it is time to call in a higher authority.

I blame his actions on him and their lack of action on them.

I see few differences between the gunmen; other then, one was seen coming from a mile away, while the other ambushed the first; and one is being accused of not being of sound mind, the other is called a hero.

Alumbrado, if you read my last you'd notice that the U.S. Coast Guard was under the Dept. of Transportation, *not* the Dept of Defense.
I believe they're under the Dept of Homeland Security now.
I'm beginning to suspect that you're what they call a "wannabe."
You come out with "facts" that aren't true.
You won't answer "difficult" questions.
*Who told you that Federal Law Enforcement Officers have to be sworn in by Federal Judges?*
I've never heard that one before!
You still won't answer that question.
And "enlisted men" in the Coast Guard are FLEO's; do you think Lieutenants are riding around in 41 foot or 52 foot patrol boats?
You still won't say which federal law enforcement agency you worked for, was it a... "secret" one? That like, "nobody knows about?"
And what were your arrests for?
These are pretty simple questions.
Keep talking, you're just digging yourself in deeper
Look up the U.S. Code Title 14.
Oh, and who was the *Federal Judge* who "swore you in?"

Owner, LOL!
"The Inspector" is probably out on an "undercover case"
And I mean "DEEP" cover.

Hey "Inspector", I even found the applicable Sections in Title 14 for you.
Sections 2, 89, 143
Also in Title 19 Sections 1589a and 1401.
Also, just go into wikipedia and type in "U.S. Coast Guard" in the search section.
Chew on that for awile!

Let me see, should I type that I am a former federal law enforcement officer in small (lower case) letters like that or,.........should I do it in large letters (upper case) like this; "I'M A FORMER FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
Or,.....should I type it like, I'm a former Federal Law Enforcement Officer.?
Hmmm, I wonder what "The Inspector" will have to say about that?

Owner, thankyou kindly.
And thanks to the other Veterans in here too for their service!
We do dissagree on about half of things but that means we agree on the other half!
