Well, hell, I've been trying to throw together a tabletop group for a minute, so far no takers. It's all computer now.

We recently acquired a new feline addition to our house. A huge white deaf tom we named Beethoven. =) Shitty Kitty would be the more appropriate moniker, though. His deafness affects his balance, so every jump he makes ends up with stuff falling to the floor. we hear crashes and bangs all night long, lol. Since he can't go outside, he gets bored (a bored cat is a cat bound for mischief). He's a handful.... and we still catch ourselves yelling " Bad Cat!!" when he climbs up the center of the Christmas tree. LOL!

Methinks a certain kitty's gunna get a water pistol in his stocking.

Role playing games (the not-digitized kind) are collaborative storytelling. There's usually one person framing and guiding the story while the rest react as characters in the story. There are stats and rules to dictate how well the characters can deal with different types of challenges and conflicts. Dice are there because randomness is a lot more interesting than hearing 'yes, you can' or 'no, you can't.'

As much as I'd like to disagree, I can't in good faith. I keep all my D&D characters and books on my laptop, I buy shoes online, my cell phone is also a PDA with wifi, I work as a sys-admin (at school), and even my watch is binary, not digital, binary.
