And in response to Novel's sig line...yes, thespians make wonderful play partners. My roleplaying tended to throw my last Dom for a loop. I've been doing shows for about 18 years (I'm somewhere in the 45-50 show range), and most of the roles that I get are the "character parts", so I've gotten quite good at turning on whatever persona the situation calls for. He would suddenly stop the scene and go "Are you okay?", only to have me break character, smile, and inform him that everything was alright, and if I needed to tone down the character, I would. Never could convince him that, really, I was fine. I was merely acting out my role in the scene, and since I'd yet to use my safe word, I would continue to be fine.
