Many wannabees: try to rush things quicker than seems/feels natural, spew a lot of quotes from various BDSM readings, keep secrets under the guise of "I'm the Dom, that's why..."(and you know when they're doing this), are waaaay too focussed on sex and play stupid head games (and I don't mean the fun mind-fuck kind....I mean the uncalled for manipulative kind). In any case...if you've been through one or two wannabees you get to the point where you can smell them a mile away. Your gut instinct is your best tool....hone it....listen to it.....use it!
