Probably because females feel they can just sit back, get tons of emails and sort through what they receive.  They may feel they're actually accomplishing something,but if what's coming into your mailbox is trash - you need to start being more proactive.  First, beef up the profile if need be; second, seek and ye just may shall find.

It does read though, upon reading it again, as though it was a direct reference to her and her questions rather than covering the plural you. When I want to say what you did, I usually place it in quotes as that is a quote anyway and use generic term one, to mean anyone.

Yes, I'm sure that is it - they know they get traffic so just sit back and deal with the onslaught. I guess that's one strategy to take. The only issue is that you have to wait...and wait...and wait...on the hopes that "He" just happens to stumble upon you (and then will write an email to which you'd respond).


That, to me, is like waiting on job offers for crap jobs and not looking for the job YOU want and need. Somehow, it's all bass-ackwards.

The s/s's I've chatted with that have taken this approach usually end up as frustrated as the Doms that email lots of potentials and don't hear back (for whatever reason).


I've often thought that finding O/one can be more successful when the s/s does the looking and identifies a short list of guys that seem to really strike a chord.
