ORIGINAL: willowspirit Thank you, peppermint! BDSM IS more than just "activities" for players. Truthfully, I'm sick to death of people who think it's limited to discussions about three-handed fistings and four-handed floggings! (watch how many shallow comments flow outta that line!) Part of what the initials B.D.S.M. stand for are Dominance (Dominants) and Submission (submissives), AND Slaves & Masters ... Those are RELATIONSHIPS, NOT merely activities by role-playing actors and wannabes! Jade (the female part of the site's main contributors) was a wonderful submissive. I found a sister heart in her and her writings. The information regarding "growing" of a submissive past fears and into confidance while still deepening the inter-dependence was priceless. My opinion certainly isn't humble. And frankly, I don't give a damn. Engaging in BDSM without these sorts of insights is probably why so many people I run into here (and locally) are in therapy and/or on meds. (or should be!) I wish I had copied all the articles I found so useful and real. This serves as a reminder to me, not to take things for granted. I innocently believed Castle Realm would be around forever. willowspirit (who's now passionately upset, frustrated and needs to be pinched, sounded, vibrated, buggered, and flogged into tearful oblivion and then cuddled into a LONG evening of aftercare by a Significant Dominant who matters -- and actually "gets" this!) quote:
ORIGINAL: peppermint You are very welcome, ricksub42. As you have noticed, Castle Realm is not highly thought of by those who do a lot of posting in Collar Me. They consider it too nice nice and candy coated BDSM. (shrugs) I see nothing wrong with that nor anything wrong with the sites that are more whips and chains oriented. It's a point of view...and i loved some of the articles there and consider them educational and informative. To each their own
