so TNG groups never discuss the following in their meetings and relationships?

bdsm
d/s
m/s
s&m

<snarkiness deleted>

I would hope so! .. and enjoy it in their OWN world.

I am on the board of a TNG group.

I'm also a member of a leather family, and ID as a leatherdyke.

The two are not separate.  They are not different things.  TNG represents an *age* group - not a new, separate community that flouts your "rules".

Which, by the way, don't exist.  Not universally.  Not applicable.

Wasn't there an age bracket you catered too?  Something like the 18-35-ish crowd?

No booze or drugs

No one under 21.

I'm all sorts of confused, Lotus is supposedly championing the roots of modern bdsm with all their rules and standards of the leather culture...and yet suggesting that booze or drugs weren't involved?

Someone isn't remembering history or is trying to have their fantasy history cake and eat it too.

Actually, I first proposed the topic then everyone started to twist it all around.  I merely stated my thoughts.  Basically about what people defined as true...and how maybe a structured foundation would have clarified the situation.

When it  became snarky and defensive, I could see that it is SSDD with the same people that will snark at any different view point  and  decided to let you kids have your fun.  I know what I know and what you have yet to learn.     I'm amazed you drew it out to 8 pages!  LOL!

I'm done with this thread... and  My opinion of YOU is none of your business

Oddly enough, the opening and "closing" posts began and ended this thread with snarkiness.  I'd say the theme of this thread was presicely as its "owner" created.

While I can't speak for others,  I think it's safe to say that's not an opinion that many are concerned with.

How does this apply to anything?  What does age have to do with it?

For some it has nearly everything to do with it.

What good is knowledge if you are unable to present it coherently?  To my way of thinking, true knowledge stands up under scrutiny.

It might have been a few less pages if you had been able to provide logic and a rational support for your proposal.  Don’t blame the rest of us for your inability to defend your position.

Not legal in most places?

What are you doing? Nailing your brother?

I thought I would let you know, in most states BDSM is illegal. In my state there is a specific law that one cannot consent to their own assault. It was passed to stop domestic violence, but its effect is that the state could conceivably take my Daddy into custody because some nosy doctor decided I was being abused by him.

I know this to be true because a doctor did report marks my niece had from domestic violence and her husband was locked up for about 6 months... without her testimony I might add... so it can happen.

Now THAT is the definition of a hardcore masochist.
