Next to your head during a scene-would it distract you terribly?

angelikaJ -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:21:14 PM)

only if I thought the spiders were in distress...

completenz -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:25:03 PM)

Yes.

adoracat -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:33:29 PM)

terrorize me to the point of curling into a ball in fear.  i have severe spider phobia.

I know my answer probably sounded flip and I hope no one with a spider phobia is  offended.
That is certainly not my intent.

I am not afraid of them but I understand many people are.

LadyJeelys -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:38:54 PM)

I'd just wonder why my spider was in a jar instead of her tank.

PsyVamp -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:38:54 PM)

It would distract me because I'd be too busy watching my pet's reaction to the eight legged monsters...lol.
Although I've got a touch of arachnophobia, he is much worse than I.
Spiders in a jar do not bother me, nor does putting them in a jar.

Spider hanging from my ceiling, however, would cause me to stop the scene until the critter was removed.

I'd be nice and give them all some crickets.

xxblushesxx -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:42:49 PM)

If they were in a jar with a lid, no problem.

But as vamp said, if they were free...I'd be outta there!

Leatherist -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:47:31 PM)

the lid might be a little loose.

AquaticSub -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:52:34 PM)

I'd probably flip out.

Gwynvyd -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 3:55:39 PM)

Ok.. little known freaky thing of mine...

When I was younger I lived next door to a guy who had a tarantula farm.. I used to lay on the floor and have him let them crawl all over me... I *loved* it.. it was soooo sooo nice.

I have had tarantulas myself.. and I adore the little babies.

I wouldnt mind being tied down.. and have a few climb over my naked body. As long as they were tame, and calm.

Now they are all over at the side nearest you, staring at you with thier beady little eyes.

I luahged during the james bond scene-where he narrowly escapes death from "the killer spider"[:D]

christine1 -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 4:01:14 PM)

i can't even look at a picture of a spider or touch a rubber or plastic one without losing it.  i have nightmares all the time about spiders....probably some fodder for some therapist i suppose.

Seriously... I'm creeped out just by that post. I hate them.... I'm too scared to kill them or take them outside. I use a vaccum and hate myself for killing them but I just can't do it!

Leatherist -> RE: spider jar (1/6/2008 4:08:19 PM)
