Status: offline 		If you are using the big "O" as the definition of heat of the moment , I like the 2 minute guideline. Any thing said 2 minutes prior to or 2 minutes after is endorphine produced outburst. Somewhat like Bobcat Goldthwaites interpretation of his tiurets character from police acadamy. Status: offline 		In my experience, when people are in a position to let go of their inhibitions, which can include being intoxicated or in Domspace or Subspace, you tend to see where their real emotions tend to be.

That doesn't say whether you should "confront" him about it.  But I think it can give you some insight into what is in his head, even if he can't acknowledge it yet.

Who knows, maybe he specifically "tested" the waters to see how you react.  If you do nothing, he could misread that.  Honestly, there's no reason NOT to talk to him, but just set it up the right way.  "Sir you said something when we were playing, and I want to make sure I didn't misread anything."  Any good person won't be offended.

Status: offline 		I think that if he meant it... it will come up again later if you give it time. If you don't hear anything about it in the next 2-3 weeks he probably didn't mean it.  But if he says it again during maybe some passionate happening then that means it's on his mind as well.  I would just give it time... and try not to get your hopes up if the answer isn't what you see.  Good luck!  *hugs*

Status: offline 		I'm getting in at the end here (well, poor choice of words) but this is what I think, before the answer is revealed.
 
I have to guess at your relationship, but, with what I have to go on, I think he meant what he said. What you have to realize is, all of him wasn't in on conference when he said it. Whatever he said was not the sum of his feelings and thoughts where you are concerned. It was an honest sum of what he had in consciousness at that moment, but there may or may not be other feelings and thoughts too.
 
As to what that means for your relationship, it sounds like things are going very well in part at least!
