Bombay Sapphire Martini with a lime-----I always have a bottle of the evil stuff in the freezer.

Mmm, I always enjoy those with a lemon twist.  :)

My friend makes the best cosmos - not too sweet, and with a splash of pomegranite.

Otherwise, a top shelf margarita on the rocks, with salt.

I rarely drink the hard stuff, though.  I do love a good quality Pinot, Cab, or Chardonnay.  An icy cold amber ale is refreshing, too.

Mostly I drink sparkling mineral water.

Can't go wrong with a Kentucky Bourbon.  I used to drink beer when I was younger, but now find it makes me feel bloated and rooted.  I like to have a few shots of a Bourbon or sometimes Tequila when out with friends or playing music.  Wine gives me heartburn so do not drink much even though I enjoy the taste a lot.

I'll drink pretty much anything, but I lean towards vodky, & lots of it.

My poison is poison.  Haha.  A real knee-slapper.

Anyway, I've been known to enjoy a drink or two a few times a week.  I normally stick to beer, and my limit is three drinks when I drink my hardest.  I like McEwan's, Harp, Upland Wheat (better than Blue Moon and made here in good old Indiana), Sam Adams, anything by Oberon and anything by Delirium Tremens.  My absolute favorite, though, is Lafayette Brewing Company's Piper's Pride Scottish Ale.  Brew Co. can do no wrong.  Honestly, I'm really not a snob, and I won't snub Miller Lite if it's cheap.  I will, however, snub Coors Lite.  Ok, I'll drink it if there's nothing else, but I'll make fun of it and whine like a sissy the whole darned time.

As for hard alcohol, I like it all, but I don't like most of it by itself.  I enjoy whiskey and cokes, vodka and cranberries with lime, gin and tonics, margaritas, Bloody Marys.  All of it, really.  A dirty Grey Goose martini is my favorite, though.  Yum.

All this talk of imbibing has made me thirsty, and it's about time for me to head out with some friends to do some imbibing of my own while playing trivia.  Tonight it will probably be Killians or Blue Moon.  They're on special, and a woman has to have her priorities right.

Edited to add:  Oh, and I enjoy wine as well.  I strongly prefer dry, red wine, though.  A good Cabernet makes me happy.

I've never developed a taste for beer and while I occasionally have a glass of wine, I stick to white or blush... I haven't found any red wines I care for.  My drink of preference is an amaretto sour.  Yes, it's sweet and you can't taste the alcohol.  I'm a wuss.

Disaronno is one of my favorite things.
Along with rum, which is far and away my favorite.
I can live without wine and I dislike beer.

Try a slice of Orange in your Upland or Blue Moon, it's damn good.

Whiskey straight up, sometimes with a coke back or mixed with coke. Prefer Maker's Mark, but George Dickel Black label is not bad. Occasional I will drink Grey Goose chilled with a splash of lime juice in the bottom of the glass.

I am from the type of people who enjoy a drink, a drink being an alcoholic beverage, from time to time.Though I am not as bad as I was, something which I believe comes with age.(hey d. am better now).Hey, my fortieth consisted of two pints of Doom Bar and that was it.

But, I still drink now and again, beer mostly, though these days, two pints is a maximum, as is a glass or two of cabernet sauvignon.Rough red wines being a favourite.

Who else here enjoys a tipple, and if I may ask, what is your favourite and normal tipple?

Are you drinking it, or other now?

For a celebration i like to drink Champagne - my favourite being Veuve Clicquot

I also dislike the taste of beer. I have a Cabernet Sauvignon if having a drink ... i only drink a soda if it is used as a mixer with Burbon and that might be once or twice a year.

I get morons ringing in...but I do more face to face customer service (I work at a hotel).  Sometimes, having a drink or 10 would make things much more pleasant around here, but thats mainly due to a certain co-worker :P

For a while I was on a Cruzan vanilla rum/orange juice kick,,tastes like Creamsicle (sp?)

How is that Vampyre wine?

Its not bad. A lil fruity (but it IS a goth drink after all) goes really good with dessert items (i.e. cake, pie, twinkies) not so good with Red meats though, which I always thought was odd
