Disaronno is one of my favorite things

I always thought that looked so good in the commercial where the woman sucks it off the ice cubes when she empties the glass.  Or maybe it was just her sucking the ice cubes that looked good?  Anyway.....back during the holidays, Master allowed me to go to this huge liquor store here in town and choose some things for us to try.  It was like turning a kid loose in a candy store.  All the pretty colors and bottles...lol.

After a good 45 minutes, I finally narrowed my selections down to Disaronno and Frangelico.  That's another one I had always wanted to try.  It's a hazelnut liquer.  We both liked the taste of both of them so it was money well spent.  Disaronno is amaretto, which I hadn't realized.  I tend to like the sweet, after-dinner liquer type things (Bailey's Irish Cream, Butterscotch Schnapps, Kahlua, etc.)  I don't drink much but those are nice little tasty treats every once in awhile.

As for beer, I like several different types of beer but they must be ice cold and in a bottle.  I like experimenting with new brands I haven't tried.  Wine - I love blush.  And, what can I say, I love Sour Apple Schnapps.  Such a cool flavor.........................luci

Try a slice of Orange in your Upland or Blue Moon, it's damn good.

When I traveled back east last Fall, I tried this in a bar in Virginia. The (very cute) bartender suggested it on a hot and humid day.  She was right - it was delicious for the occasion!

The next day I went to this little corner bar/restaurant near OBU and had the wonderful pleasure of trying "Magic Hat #9" with my She Crab soup (dayum I loved Virginia!).  It's an apricot infused ale, and while I tend to not like sweet, it was delicious with the spicy soup.  Delicious...

God help me for what I drink.
The most enjoyable, and innocent is a petite Sirah.
  The worse is Jim Bean...
