i think you should read it again. Maybe more slowly and carefully. One of the ones i remember is the post i wrote to Madrabbitt. He never answered me. He was off line.

No one in this thread brought up financial slavery... you brought it up. MR has not posted on this thread, so why would you expand your OP, change the parameters of this thread. Of course you started this thread to elaborate on your views in the other thread, and when people brought up how it has worked in their life, and they have not been taken advantage of... and there were few who knew of those who had been, you changed the parameters because you had unwittingly insulted the way other people do things.

It would be best just to say "Hey, you know what, I didn't ever think about it that way before!" Or "You know, there maybe situations where it isn't stupid to trust someone on that level". Or "Hey, some people have a financial slavery kink, it doesn't work for me, but it works for them"... but instead of doing that, you change the subject.

There are a lot of things that struck me as odd when I first discovered my submission. I did not know how deep I wanted to go, and even though I longed to go deep, I had a chip on my shoulder about it too. I had one thing about me at that time that you seem to lack... that even though I may not understand why people do what they do, if it works for them... Great! I would suggest you ask questions without assuming you know the answer to them already, because that is the way it comes across to be honest.

This is silly. You either read the posts on here too fast or you misunderstood them. Tonight i have talked about financial slavery dozens of times. It's not my fault or my problem you didn't see it.

Celeste (bitatruble) discussed the way that her master made sure she was cared for in case something happened to him, I can imagine that my Daddy is just as bright, in fact I know he is...

My Daddy has no desire for a TPE slave. He is my Daddy, I am his girl, and a Daddy doesn't make his girl without access to money...he just isn't that controlling to be honest. If he was, I know I would not have a problem with it, in fact I hate handling money, prefer an allowance, and I am tired of being the one to make all the economic decisions. I have been doing that my entire adult life. What a relief it would be if he did it! But alas, he probably would say something like "Who is the submissive here? And why should I be serving you as an accountant?".... No, unfortunately, he will probably always demand I take care of my own accounts, but when we merge our lives... his name will be on my accounts in case something happens to me. I would expect him to do likewise for me if we are depending on each other that way.

BTW.. he has far more resources than I do, it is almost laughable that he would be try to take me for anything... really, if you knew his situation and mine, you would see how ludicrous it is.

You know, I am still trying to post to you as if you can understand and respond and address me as if we are having a two way conversation here. You can take what I say as being helpful, or dismiss it if you like...

i think you and the OP from the other thread are talking about two different things. You are talking about a Dominant having access to your money. He is talking about controlling it. There are financial slaves who turn over everything and have no access to anything. that they own. That is the type of person i understood him to be talking about.

i am only refering to people who are in financial ruin due to dishonesty by the Dominant or S/O Not from a divorce.

So it is wise after knowing a Dominant for a week or two to turn everythng over to them? That's the question i was asking on another thread. i wasn't in the least refering to people who have long lasting relationships except how i feel about myself doing it.

or this

My point is that you did not bring it up in your OP as a parameter for this thread... but expanded it later... you are really proving my point for me, thanks.

Really, can't you just admit that there are situations that people would be financial slaves, give all their money to their dominants... etc, and they are not crazy and stupidly doing so... it really is much easier than what you are doing, and more productive to an enlightening conversation in which everyone gets heard, instead of trying to be "right".

And i never would of if the poster didn't ask me a question that warrented an answer about the other thread. So you have no point. i know it's hard when there are a lot of posts that are long on a thread to read everything and keep a memory of it all, but have the decency to know what you are talking about for sure instead of repremanding someone and picking them apart  when you are the one who is wrong. i mean you in a plural sense.

I would rather learn than be right, unfortunately I do not think there is anything to learn from this thread... so I will scadaddle...I will ask you a question to ask yourself, because frankly I do not care what your answer is.. what is your motivation in posting here? Is it to learn from other people, to get other people to learn from you, or just to be "right"? Who defines "right" here? You, or all the people trying to talk to you in a civil way. I have seriously tried not to jump on the unwelcoming bandwagon in regards to you, and have a conversation with you...

You did not address one thing I said about anything of a personal nature I wrote, you did not have any sort of discourse with me about the observations I had to share in regard to my relationship and giving control over assets... you were too busy trying to be "right" to have a human conversation with someone. If this is how you approach other people that disagree with your opinions on this board continually, no one is going to want to have a conversation with you... you can just sit smugly believing yourself to be "right" while the rest of us lesser mortals search for our own enlightenment.

o nce again you misquote me. i said twice people who jhave only known each other for a short time. Why aren;'t you repremanding the other ten or twenty women on this board who said they would never give up their financial control? One said they would be an idiot. Is it that i'm special or you just didn't read their posts carefully enough either.

Financial slavery is not giving up financial control.. you are ignorant of what it is... which is not a bad thing, but you are still ignorant of what financial slavery is.

Financial slavery is a term used often with malesubs/femdoms, even pro dommes. A financial slave gets off on giving their money to a dom/me for them to control it and humiliate them with it often. It is also another nice way for a pro-domme to talk about charging a male sub and make it sound hot.

Or it is a submissive person that works and gives up all income to a dominant and it becomes the dominant's. It is not held in trust for her.

Financial control, as Kyra rightly pointed out, takes many forms.... including financial slavery. Giving the dom your paycheck, and they keep it for you, is not financial slavery.

I could also point out that leaving someone financially ruined at age under 25 really isn't usually that bad- most of us barely have anything solid and secure before that age anyway.

*looks at her savings account* Yeah... I'd like to deny that but I really can't.

If this is what is agreed upon between the two of them. I have known slaves who have petitioned me and ask that I take their money, houses, properties and wedding rings away from them. Including their um's and their wives. They do not want any more control over anything in their lives. Period. I do not see anything wrong with them asking, but I am not one to accept it. I am coming in late on this thread, so if I repeat someone else, please excuse.

Oops..I didn't see the portion in red. No of course not. I don't think that any course of action that quickly after meeting someone is wise at all.
