Thank you for the excellent link LadyHathor. That was the first thing I've seen that mentioned this in particular. Electrical tape didn't bite enough. I haven't much hope for the strips.

The useful replies were more a matter of patience (because most people don't sit online all day hoping to find a topic they can post their expertise to) rather than as a result of your being rude.

Be careful of anything like tape with sticky background, the skin is is very very thin and too much pullingto get the tape off will tear or cause a terrible reaction---if you need the bite then Id say stay with the parachute cord, or a cord from a windbreaker or such, something not stiff but grabbable--(you might also look under Shibari, that is Japanese bondage, I'm not sure what is there, but worth a look ( grabbable now there is a word for you. LOL).

No matter what part of the body is being bound tightly, it's not a good idea to go prolonged periods of time to the point of concern of damage.
