This is a site for idea exchange, not idea bashing.

Flaming is against the TOS. For those of you who post here regularly and have not read it, I suggest you do so now.

Everyone has different communication styles, some are inclusive, others less so. A healthy debate between two or more people that disagree is definitely encouraged. You don't have to flame the other or their idea(s). You can simply disagree and express your reasons why you do. There is no need to tear them, their ideas or their opinions to shreds.

The best advice I can offer anyone is to try and imagine how your words can be perceived before posting them and on the flip side, don't read into everything as an insult and take everything so personally. In the end, if you believe someone is out of line, click the report key. A moderator will address the issue. If you don’t want to be bothered with someone, click the ignore button.

I really don’t care if some one pisses you off there is no need to publish such personal information and I’d hazard a guess that its against the forum rules. Some forums I’m a member of would ban the offender without hesitation..

Now you can take all the shots at me you want all that will do is to make me chuckle

IronBear, I don't want to take any shots at you. I had sent pink a lengthy email, as a friend, explaining to her that I had nothing personal against her. It took me a while to write it, as I wanted to be as clear as I could. I posted to her here that it would take some time. In that time pink made three posts, not waiting to hear from me privately. While two wrongs don't make a right, pink made a reference to a private post I had made to her earlier, with erroneous information to boot.

That's all I plan to say on this subject... like I said before, I don't need online drama. I'm glad you are friendly with her, and glad there are others who are friendly with her. I tried for as long as I could.

cello,

Please remember that I have no issues with you personally. I too understand how off line problems can blow on line issues out of the window.. I learned the hard way when to back off and take a breather. Years ago when flame wars were really hot and people were getting hurt real time I had two heart attacks brought about by stress. A new aproach and taking a rest healed me completely. However, I remember the problems and how hurt many people were, mostly over not understanding what was being said and why things were said. I can respect your backing off and mayhap in time wounds or rifts may heal.... I simply like pink and enjoy her posts and conversing with her. However, I too am aware that regarding the posts in question I'd have to say that there was errors made by both parties and sadly many misunderstandings. Who knows, perhaps a breathing space would have taken the kettle off the boil but as per usual at times like that every thing speeds up and slowing down just isn't a recognisable option.

I would have made the post irrespective who was involved and damn the consequenses. All I did was to state my views as I saw it, t'would be cowerdly to do otherwise.and a coward I am not. Do I think less of you? No! I simple defended a friend as I would defend another member of the CM Family. That is my honour. for me the matter is settled.
