ORIGINAL: Level Vote! Awwww, Level, why the pale exhausted face? Been watching too many Sci Fi DVDs? I voted for Blade Runner. It has everything a good science fiction film should have: beautiful photography, a BRILLIANT screenplay, captivating characters... and Harrison Ford. I can't wait to see the final cut (made by Ridley Scott, not by movie executives). I wonder why, though, most science fiction presents the future of humanity as dystopian. Any thought, anybody? PS: while 2001 is listed as a Sci Fi movie, I never really considered it to be one. It's more an out of body experience than a movie (my mother took me to see it when I was 10, having convinced me it was 'just like Star Wars'. Hmmmm...). But now, having grown a little, I love it.
