I still think there are more dangerous pollutants in the air we breathe, it is just that recreational pollution is made the scapegoat for perhaps more serious issues.

Check this out, it is important;

I support the new low sulfur diesel fuels,and cleaner air devices on trucks.I also support ways to reduce the use of diesel and other air polluting fuels,w/ hybrid trucks that switch to electric when in populated areas,cites,etc.There`s many ways to recuce,and we should.

It`s always cheaper to pollute more.But that shouldn`t be the only consideration.

Imagine if lead was still in fuel,or if the high sulfur diesel wasn`t being fazed out.

Imagine someone arguing that other things pollute,so why not let cars,buses,and trucks pollute more too.

Doesn`t make sence.

We can go back to leaded gas and stick w/ high sulfur diesel,if you want.There`s so many other things polluting the air ,after all.

I just wish for all air pollutants and there cancer forming causes to be taken into consideration before one singles out a minority to bash.

Cleaner fuels may become available, but a majority of public service vehicles are unable to use them due to their age.

I am sorry, I have a particular dislike for diesels, I used to work with them as a service technician and well know the problems with their fumes after having on occaisions to have to work on them in enclosed spaces, breathing their fumes, so much so, the fumes made the eyes water. And after hearing the public actually think diesel fumes are not hazardous to health and in any way cleaner than petrol fumes, wrong.
