ORIGINAL: Aneirin I still think there are more dangerous pollutants in the air we breathe, it is just that recreational pollution is made the scapegoat for perhaps more serious issues. Check this out, it is important; http://www.oehha.org/public_info/facts/dieselfacts.html I support the new low sulfur diesel fuels, and cleaner air devices on trucks.I also support ways to reduce the use of diesel and other air polluting fuels,w/ hybrid trucks that switch to electric when in populated areas, cites, etc. There`s many ways to recuce, and we should. It`s always cheaper to pollute more. But that shouldn`t be the only consideration. Imagine if lead was still in fuel,or if the high sulfur diesel wasn`t being fazed out. Imagine someone arguing that other things pollute,so why not let cars, buses, and trucks pollute more too. Doesn`t make sence. We can go back to leaded gas and stick w/ high sulfur diesel,if you want. There`s so many other things polluting the air ,after all.
