ORIGINAL: Leatherist Dude, just get out in real life and meet kinky people-all you will really find online is scammers and pros. That hasn't been my own online experience, but yeah, real life does have the advantage of reality. The scammer profiles were the ones that wrote me back the fastest, and wrote letters about how they were in love with me already, or some Dommely version of that. Real, actual women write letters that are hopefully cautious -- as though they've been burned by fake online men, but are trying again anyway. Because, you know what? That's exactly what's happening. Also, if you're only writing to women whose pics were borrowed from the Ujena Swimsuit Catalogue, you might consider changing your filter. That's a common scammer tactic. I've dated women online-to-real who were superhot. They either didn't post their pic in their profile, or didn't include their face, because they were interested in a mental connection, not a trollfest. Edited to add: Changing this because it sounds as though I'm saying no one who posts their face is pretty. That's not the point at all. If it looks like an amateur snapshot, it's likely a real person. And if it looks like a fashion shoot, odds are it was clipped out of some site. A handful of people really are fetish models, and say so on their profiles. That's different.
