In my experience it enhances things greatly. Yes it can make discipline harder to administer, but I'd rather love someone and administer discipline with love then without it. For me the whole experience would be empty without feelings on some intimate level.

Rob and I found we couldn't play with each other that way. After so many years married and seeing each other a certian way it was not something either of us wanted to change. He also didn't like hurting me. On the flip side of that ,I love Wolf and it has enhanced our SM relationship and made it deeper and more complex.

I couldn't submit the way I do to someone I didn't love and cherish.
