Mine said bondage lovers only, no sadists and I got tons of emails from sadists. I have decided that there is something wrong with the educational system in this country that it has produced so many people who can write, but not read.

Dnomyar -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 8:30:27 AM)

Mmmm how do you know that they are doing their own writing.

Dnomyar -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 10:36:24 AM)

Aynne I would reply to you if you had a moustache. I dont think that I would notice with my eyes being diverted elsewhere. Fearey put the boob pic back up and I will tell you how beautiful you are. Notice the rest of you women take a hint and do the same.  I read profiles unless they are in book form. Then you had better have a lot of pics interspersed in between the writing.

I read profiles.  I wish it were required that people actually SAY something about themselves in the profile.  So many profiles I've looked at have nothing more than the required basics, not even the checklists done.

You want contact? SAY something about yourself!  Give me an idea of WHO you are!

*steps off soapbox*

while i agree to a certain extent....i left my profile deliberately a bit vague.  you want to get to know me?  ask.  [:D]

it worked for me.  now, i still get the occasional "what are you looking for?" messages...which irritate me because the "whos lookin at me" page says they DID read the profile....but i know they didnt because the first line says i'm with someone.  buncha big sillies.

oh, i know that.  for some reason, trading lunches at school was always popular cause the other kids' lunches tasted better...even when you pack your own lunch!  but i got smoked venison instead of my peanut butter and honey and that was pretty good too.

mostly those messages make me laugh....and they make Daddy all proud that someone sees the value in me that he does (and i cant).  he knows i'll tell him about the message and still gonna be with him at the end of the day.

you would think literacy would be required in order to take full advantage of all this site has to offer, but sadly this does not seem to be the case.  nobody reads a profile anymore, those that do are very few and far between.  alot of them are found here in the forums, actually participating in them, not just perving.

What about the people who dont have a profile posted. Dont have a clue where they are comming from when they post on here.

There's no requirement to have a profile and not having one means you don't have to deal with the email situation at all.   I haven't filled mine out for that reason, although it only lowers the number of troll mails I get.

I read profiles, however, if it's really long, in neon font or rambles about what one had for dinner, I zone out and move on.

Kana -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 11:51:37 AM)

I always read profiles...
and journals too.
A well written profile is a thing of beauty.

greyangelus -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 1:03:16 PM)

Reading profiles is a handy thing.  For example, i found out that out of a full page of listing for my search criteria , exactly 2 out of 30 or so were in any way interesting.

I considered it a time-saver.

softness -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 1:19:08 PM)

90% of the people who perv you will not read your profile, it is easy to spot them and cast them aside ... write it and write it well .. because the other 10% want to see what you are really like ..

MollyTroubletail -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 1:23:51 PM)

Just for laughs I've put into my profile that some of the things I love to do are "Playing with angry ostriches," and "Having LSD flashbacks."  So far, no one has ever commented on these interests, or on any others for that matter.

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 1:26:06 PM)

my boob pic is still there.  its just not the main pic... and im not changing it because it takes forever to get pic's approved.

if they had the option of switching pic's to main/default... like most other sites then it would be real easy and you wouldnt need to wait for approval.

Moongoddess40 -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 1:29:17 PM)

I wrote my profile with thought..to express briefly who I am. I look for others who do the same, it doesn't have to be lengthy, just well thought out. And I do like pictures. It seems so many hide behind words. Or if a profile states a ton of requirements, but, nothing that person has to offer then I immediately move on, ......it's a two way street.

I read profiles. There's usually something I can find in common, besides being kinky. I've been to 16 countries, so I've accumulated a few travel stories. I used to own a restaurant in Va-Highlands, so I can talk about food and cookbooks. I can write a passable sentence in German. I own my house. I play drums. I garden. I have a lot of interests. I'm guessing there are as many assholettes as there are assholes, though. Really full of themselves. "I've been in the lifestyle for 3 centuries! (you do look like a shrivelled up old vampire)  I'm TWOO! (what an achievement)" Then, every once in a while, an unpretensious friendly and decent woman will either contact me or reply. If she contacts me, I may not always be interested, but I'll answer (unless I screw up and completely forget) because that is the polite thing to do. I almost always let non-repliers slide, but once in a while I send out another email fucking with them. As in, "You know, it seems like we have a lot in common, so it's "  and let the sentence and email die. Or I'll write a brief erotic message using another woman's name. Nothing malicious, though. Not my style. I have a pretty good grasp of my personality, my skill-set, my economic status, and my knowledge of female anatomy. And it might sound egotistical, but "her loss". [8D] Peace

nwcutie102 -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 2:40:16 PM)

i also have received all types of emails. my profile is specific, i guess people try anyway. i just filter out and respond to certain ones. no luck in my local jersey area though. there is one creative and intelligent fellow i continue make email exchanges with. he has been a gentleman. i find something very sexy about a Dom or Master who is a gentleman. respectful. i am well aware of the other side, yet it just looms, not thrust at me. nice.

HalloweenWhite -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 3:32:38 PM)

I spend hours reading profiles, I go backwards and forwards between profiles and the message boards sometimes, reading profiles, then finding something to post a reply to. Other times I just sit and read to see who's about, what they're into and if they live closer to Me (which they never seem to!).

Baddsir -> RE: Does any one actually read profiles? (2/4/2008 3:32:58 PM)
