It's pretty easy, IMHO. If they've only got "Friends Only" checked, I'd suspect they aren't looking for someone. All you have to do is look at the profile and scroll down.

well i will come out and say it clearly for you then

whatever your intention you are coming across as deeply immature when you post like this ... the poor spelling, the frequent swearing, the use of slang (dude .. really now does anyone mature say that), the instantly pugnacious tone ... all of it screams angry little boy. .. we dont know you, we cant sit down opposite you and study you face to face .. all we know about each other are the words as they appear on these forums ...

but then you dont care what other people think of you .. This is what the original post by Thorn said. It is not in my opinion looking for validation at all. He states "...continually brought up that I am too young...", He is telling us of an opinion he has encountered on this site. One that I myself have run up against. He does not later ask us to tell him he is not too young, he inquires of us if we think age is an issue of personality. If anone disagrees with my anaysis of this show me where I err. Otherwise quit arguing about it and answer the question.

Personally I do think age is an issue of personality, or at least a good guide. Young people have less experience, and they attemps more by force than older people.
The young can do more by force, brute force, force of personality, force of will. This is due to our physical strength, smooth complexion and high energy. People follow people they deem 'good looking' most often, as seen in politics. Ugly people do not make office.
Older people counter this with knowledge gained through experience. Brute strength is not needed when one has leverage. Force of personality is not needed when one is able to gain confedence through knowledge. Force of will is not needed when people can be won to your perspective.
(these no longer apply if a person is unwilling to learn and thereby loses the youthful advantages without gaining knowledge)

So age is an issue of personality. We each have strengths, and these strengths show in our personalities. People (subs and Doms) enjoy different aspects of people, and these aspects (while not always) are found in different age groups. So we set our age preferences along with all of our other preferences. But sometimes it sucks when you find a beautiful sub that is looking for someone older.
