i've got an idea...why don't we just draw social security numbers every four years, kind of like a lottery, and the person that gets drawn would be President, and vice President...all the way down the line until everyone is replaced every four years.

im not a canuck..im actually swedish..my parents moved here during pregnancy with me in 1970 from sweden. my blood is pure euro.

Assuming they have the eduction to know what they are doing, sounds fine. However, I'm not sure they would have had enough education. Did you see that poll where random Americans were asked to find America on a map?

As for the random numbers - Could work. It'll be interesting to see what happens when we get a gay porn star or KKK Grand Dragon for president.

I honestly think that we are just wasting our time with this. The point is to elect people you want to run the office. Yet they aren't even running the office AND!!!!! There really isn't anyone to vote for.

I seriously do nominate either Mickey Mouse or myself. I want to see everyone do that and have congress run around like a chicken with it's head cut off - trying to fix the problem.

If this is a serious question, and as I have not read the other responses,

Check the Constitution. The Electoral College would cast their votes.

This is a republic, not a democracy.
