Status: offline 		Im sorry Irish mist. I've read the full compilation of hitchhikers books and I was sorely disappointed with the movie. I wouldn't say this one was a "grabber". I will say that I've watched deathrace 2000 about a billion times though.

Status: offline 		Rollerball for sure...the original one with James Caan as Jonathan E. After all these years, I still can't decide whether the first Mad Max is genius or junk. All I know is I'll watch it anytime it's on. There's a version in which they did a really bad job of dubbing in all the dialog "in American"...no Aussie accents. That version is definitely crap.

Status: offline 		Center Stage, the script was bad, the acting was worse, but damn, the final dance really moves you.  Sometimes, if I need a pick me up I just watch the final scene.  Also, I may or may not be able to the dance she learned in jazz class.  Yes, I am that big of a dork.

Martial Angels - if you ever watch this, you will know the depths of my...
well, anyway, it would be worth watching if only for one minor character, the sexual psychopath, "Bone," played so joyously by Terence Yin.  A gang of girl thieves needs him for a job, so they break him out of prison and hold him captive.  Yes, there is bondage - not as much as one would like.  In one scene, one of the women wards off his advances when they're left alone together.  She sticks a gun in his face and he licks the barrel. 

I'm still trying to find a good still of that.

Yes I am with you on the recent movie of the late Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide.  And like you I read the all 5 of the books also his Dirk Gentry Holistic Detetive.  However, I did enjoy a BBC TV series Hitichhikers Guide, I believe you can still get it.

Cherry 2000 - probably most cheesy movie that Melanie Griffith ever made.

The Gods Must be Crazy - If you see it for the first time under the influence of ummmm, a smokeable substance, then it is farkin' hilarious.
