chronic fatigue syndrome sufferers normally also exhibit some forms of chronic pain, but i'd recommend checking that out. b-12 and other vitamin deficiencies can cause cognitive issues, physical weakness, and fatigue as well. but yes, stress and depression can both cause a wide variety of physical issues. for me, both exacerbate the pain problems i already have and make me extremely fatigued. as alumbrado mentioned, they also impair the immune system and generally put a lot of stress on the body, physically. you're much more likely to become injured or experience pain when you are tense due to stress. also, it is very possible to experience physical symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety, and not consciously realize that's what's going on. normally if you're having a panic -attack-, you know it, but generalized anxiety, depression, and stress can and often do occur without conscious realization that that is what's happening.
