Arkansan is amusing as well as frustrating. "Haint cheer dunnat?" translates to "Haven't you ever done that?" Having to translate something from what is purportedly my own language is annoying.

When I worked in Boston, my friend's supervisor said my friend Barbara was Bob and my supervisor Robert was Bawb.

good for Boston...no gender issues there then

Status: offline 		Amen, Womyn!  I just allowed my favorite new sub from here call me on the phone last night.  As my grandma used to say "Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth."   Thankfully, not one hint of a 'Yankee' accent.  I hate harsh Northern American accents.

Status: offline 		Oh GOD, I LOVE accents! Big time. Anytime a European man speaks to me I just melt. French happens to be my favorite. It doesn't matter what they say, I'm just enamoured. I don't too much like rough European accents though like Russian or German, but Polish is extremely sexy. I've actually dated a few men who didn't know English at all, I think I was turned on by not knowing what they were saying or them not understanding me. It's like being hooded without a hood.

Status: offline 		I spent five years in the UK and could have picked up an accent, had I wanted to. Would probably have helped with the fairer sex. Still no regrets, really. That sort of thing has to come naturally and I'd feel like a twat if I'd forced it. Few accents really do it for me. I like the Romanian accent a lot. That said, some accents are a major turn off for me. Principally the Australian and South African. No offense to anyone. I can't explain why. But who can with this sort of thing?

How interesting that you believe that you have no accent. I was born and raised in Coventry England. Like the people of Edinburgh Scotland I too believe myself to be accent free. Here we call it – speaking The Queens English.

Yet should we meet or cam together, I would immediately recognise you as an American, where you, would immediately recognise me as an Englishman !

We do of course all have accents.

Status: offline 		Neither of my boys really have a noticeable accent, but one of them speaks pretty good Russian, and it occurred to me that it would be seriously fucking hot to do an interrogation scene where he only spoke Russian and a bit of broken English with a Russian accent.  The fantasy roleplaying possibilities are seriously promising.

Status: offline 		LNT, what a grand idea. I have done this a couple of times and whilst I suck at interrogation scenarios (too many bad memories), the victim begging tearfully in a broken accent (especially mid European with leanings toward the Slavic) is just damned hot.

Status: offline 		I find Middle Eastern Accents generally are both soothing and hot, but the Israeli accent when Hebrew is spoken is just plain erotic (especially when spoken by a dark eyed Israeli female fighter)

Status: offline 		i love proper English accents - growing up in Europe i think really affected me in this regard.

Also love a good Brooklyn or Long Island or Yonkers accent - mmmhmmmm. My ex Master is Long Island Italian - loved it.

And the thought of being Dominated by someone in a language i don't understand is super-hot to me - a bilingual Owner would be awesome. Lots of fun things can be done with that.

Status: offline 		I have two accents - one is northern English (geordie), and the other is pretty accentless "Queen's English". Depends on the setting - I can switch between the two

But the accents that I adore are the Germanic accents - German, Dutch, Danish....yummy!

And against all stereotypes, I don't find French, Italian and Spanish sexy at all
