I personally wasn't aware we were graded on the forum.  Someone should have told me we had an english teacher watching over us!  I would have written in ebonyx just to confuse him (someone blindfold the spelling teacher, I'm having an off day.)

I didnt know they HAD english teachers in Arkansas (a grin flirts with her lips as she says, "Are-Kansas")

You grew up in the 18th Century, huh?  It's an archaic way of spelling the word, and it's not used anymore (except by people that like to play Halloween 365 days a year.)  Also, I didn't realize they capitalized common nouns outside of the U.S. in English or any language for that matter.

So based on that I would guess that you wouldnt accept my spelling of the word tyre, which you would spell as tire. Nor my spelling of cheque which you would spell as check. But then I did notice that you are from the land of Bill Clinton where a blow job isnt a form of sex.

AAAHAHAHAHAH AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA HEEEE HEEE HEEE AHAHAHAHAAAAHHHAHAHA
Oh damn, I just bent the cover of my book.

Clinton.  hahahahahahahahahahha  AreKansas is full of tools huh!!??  (oops, what will he say about huh?)

Im still waiting for an answer as to how  "slaveboyforyou" can be 100% certain that vampyres do NOT exist. As I stated it wasnt that long ago that the idea that something as small as germs could exist, people once thought the Earth was flat, and I could go on and on.

I find this entire discussion quite entertaining actually. I've had a good chuckle at some of the replies here. But until one of us is caught and brought in Vampyres will remain one of those things people are quite unsure of.

No actually I am 100% sure that vampires don't exist (no matter what pretentious spelling you use for them.)

I am very curious as to how you could prove the nonexistence of vampires.

First off, we need to have a definition of what a Vampire really is.

It's already a proven medical fact that there are genetic and environmental conditions that cause anemia and iron defecincy. The lack of iron in the body causes pale skin, a build up of calcium in the teeth, and can cause blood to bleed out through the gums. Most people with such a case of anemia, or lack of iron, will also tend to have long finger nails, be very thin, have slightly sunken in eyes, and are usually taller than your average person.

Back in the old days, being odd/different was bad. The paranoid/supersticious people came up with tall tales to explain and weed the odd out.

Vampirism could be a simple cases of having a lack of iron and being anemic. After all, Were Wolfism turned out to be a genetic disorder of having an extreme and excelerating growth of body and facial hair. Combine that with some halucigenic moldy bread and you have yourself a giant fury beast that goes beyond explanation of the Dark Age period.

No tyre and cheque are British spelling variants.  They are not archaic spellings.  Archaic spellings are fine if you are using them as a literary device, which you clearly are not.  If you're an American, then it is pretentious to use British spelling variants.  Also again, capitalizing common nouns is not done in any language.

Your analogy of vampires to the once heavily debated germ theory of disease is laughable.  It's akin to drawing an analogy between paleontology and cryptozoology.  The folklore of vampires is no more rooted in truth than tales of fairies, leprechauns, goblins, genies, ghosts, werewolves, swampmen, reptilian humanoid hybrids (I have met lunatics that believe that they secretly rule the Earth.), or any of hundreds of other ideas that have sprouted from people's imaginations.

But is it as far out of question as someone caring what an inbred, hunt for deer off the porch, marry your cousin, practically 3rd world living Arkansas person thinks?  Again, you have not seen it so you dont believe it?  Air is a myth and so is gravity right?  Im not saying that I am careful in dark shadows and full moons, (well for more than the crack head who may want to rob me) but damn, such a closed mind doesnt leave room for much.

slaveboy and I don't always agree....Free Bird! ...'nough said...Anywhoooo. There are no such things as vampires...There are those disillusioned enough or who prefer fantasy over reality to aspire to this nonsensical belief.

I don't have to prove that they exist....They don't....I might take a golden shit one day. Prove I won't. I hope it's large, and doesn't hurt too bad. With the price of Gold...All I have been ingesting for the last month is "Golden Grahams."

No vampires...No Capt. Kirk....No ghosts.....No werewolves or angry mummies....No leperchauns...Or hobbits or Gnomes.

I'm sorry to have to break this to you....You are all just some pasty goths...Who looks identical to every other pasty goth...Live a little. You're just a little bummed. Get out and get some sun. Smile.

You seem to be more hung up on how I spell things than the real topic. Also just because I am currently residing in the U.S. I find it pretentious of you to call me pretentious for using Brit spelling. Just for your information I was born in New Zealand and grew up there, and still maintain a home there, thus my "Brit" spelling.
Can you present me with any proof of the non-existance of Vampyres? Oh and the capitalization....you say that it is NEVER done for common nouns?? Tell me why the president of a comapany is not capitalized, while the President of the US is?
Again I state that you are under Bill Clintons spell a blow job is not sex, and "vampires" do not exist

It's always lovely to see someone use stereotypes and bigotry in a debate.  It just smacks of intelligence and wisdom.  I suppose if I were black; you'd dismiss my argument as the irrelevant ramblings of an ignorant nigger?  I doubt you have ever been to Arkansas.  It's hardly the third world.  If you want to see third world conditions, take a drive through any inner city ghetto in California.  Of course, I don't discount someone's argument because of where they live.  Only ignorant people do that.  By the way I don't marry my cousins, I just date them.  Also, I am a sportsman.  I step off the porch before I shoot at a deer.

My disbelief in vampires has nothing to do with whether I have seen them.  There is no scientific evidence that they exist.  Unlike air, gravity, or microorganisms; you can't measure the existence of vampires.

Sodo you also believe that the planet Earth is the only planet to host life? There are millions of stars out there with millions more planets around them, wouldnt it be pompous of us to think that we are the only lifeforms in existence? Im not saying I believe in littel green men in flying saucers coming to visit us. I just believe that there are other lifeforms somewhere out there. I dont think they come to see us, and we've never been to see them.
Just curious if you are one of those people who thinks the whole moon landing was done on a Hollywood sound stage?
