The lying is the big problem, but, just put that where it belongs, in the past. You're looks will supercede the age in your profile. Yes, you need to make it clear it's a recent photo. Lady Hathor, you're cute. The kinda' cute we reserve for, "she's cute and we wanna get into her pants." Not that we're a match, but we're thinkin' it. PS When you find the right person, if they perchance work as a bartender, they may reflexively say, "Sorry Miss, I can't serve you without ID."

Lady H, As a narcissistic whiner I can confirm you post is in fact, not a whine. Age is immaterial. We're all time travelers moving into the future at a speed of 1.0 The desired relationship you describe in your profile sounds wonderful. I don't think anyone seeking such a relationship would be put off such an ephemeral thing as age. I learned a very hard lesson about honesty in a thread confessing my marital status (married). I never said I was single, but I did not say I was married. My thread, which was truly a tearful whine, brought down the wrath of many who had apparently been very hurt by someone that had lied to them. I take partial credit (very, very minscule portion :-)) for the supportive nature of the responses you have received in this thread by allowing those with issues to exercise their demons upon me in an earlier thread :-) Honesty good. I am 60... 61 in Sept. What does the number have to do with anything? It's how you feel about yourself and the world around you that is important. My daughter is a Pro Domme and showed me the life. I took to it as the most natural thing for me to do. I realized that all those years of thinking that I was just a pushy, high maintenance Jewish broad from NJ... I was a domme in search of a flogger and corset. I have had an incredible welcome into this community. My 3 subs, with one still in the getting to know you stage, and I are happy to have each other. Age... screw it, don't get bogged down in numbers.... just live the life.

Lady Hathor after reading your post it reminds me of slave raregem and her desire to have a Mistress once again. her age was listed as 59 and that was fine with me, imagine my suprise when on her birthday I found out she was 70 not 60; big age difference with me being only 47. she went to work and as I sat in O/our home waiting for her return I thought about her age. I was upset of course but after thinking it over there isnt a thing I would change. I do agree with you on the mommy thing though being a Mistress to someone who is the same age as my son is creepy. i try to never lie about my age, but i have two diffferent BCs with different years. only two years apart so what the hell. but actualy i really dont know how old i am. i have this fucked up deal where i dont look anywhere close to my age at all (wonder often if im part vampire, i am not aging much at all) people ask how old i am i say, 'how old do you think?' whatever they say, usually off by at least 10 years, i just agree. when i have to show my ID, i always wind up having to soothe someones panic attack when thay see my real age. dont worry about it, if youre hot youre hot, fuck em if they cant deal.

LadyHathor, We share an age, and I have nothing like your claim to being in good condition, etc. However...a young man at a local party about a year back made what seemed to be a honest guess at my age...as being 32. Now, even if I assume he subtracted five years for courtesy, he was off by almost two decades. Boy, did he make me blink! One solution to age discrimination online might be as simple as this: don't enter an age. Post a photo, and let them think what they will. Folks meeting you in person don't ask your age at first sight; why should anyone online need to know? Sometimes I answer that query with a very old saying: I'm as old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth. Me, I've had queries from subs ranging from 19 to 63. Many of them don't look past the hair. And I'm a choosy bitch, so I send 80-90% away with polite greetings unless they've earned a flea in their ear. Someone else spoke of hanging up her corset at age 40...hell, I haven't even got the corset yet. I'm of the opinion that honesty has to come first. If a guy contacted me in the past and lied about his age, the moment the truth came out I'd pretty much block him. And it was because of the lie, nothing else. I think an age differential is more of an issue than age itself. I have been approached so many times by people who could be considered of an older generation than myself, that it makes it very difficult to be even willing to talk to them. Ultimately its an issue of compatibility. Not only interests compatibility, but life stage compatibility. If a guy wants kids, should he really consider a woman who has passed menopause or who has had a hysterectomy? If I have certain needs and desires, should I not seek to fulfill them? Will the needs of the guy who wants kids be denied? I don't think its fair to be discriminated against based on age in work or housing, etc. But for a personal relationship excpect discriminating tastes. I feel honesty is the best currency you have. Show your pictures, even if you have to get one with a time stamp. People will believe you or not, their choice. But your integrity is worth more than the illusion of youth. I recognize that I am on the young side of the equation, and that it always seems easier from the other side of the fence. As time goes on my personal feelings will likely change, though I hope that I will be with my pup for many years and not need to seek again. I also hope I will always recognize the practicalities and keep honesty first. Morghan

LH: A fast reply to the OP, since i dont have time to read the thread... I would much rather be "out of consideration range" from those so shallow that they stop reading at the numbers. If I have to lie, cover up, or in any other way change who I really am just to get someones attention, I dont want their attention. If you cannot accept me, then you can go along your merry way, and I will find someone who can. But maybe thats just me. Id rather be alone than with someone who doesnt want to be with ME but only with my title and a fabricated story. DV

Lady Hathor, when I think of one who is a Domme, I automatically think of one who is older, someone with experience. I look at an older female as being more of a true Domme than say a female in her 20's.

I will admit, I'm one of those submissives who is only interested in submitting to dominants within a certain age range. I'm looking for marriage and children though so that makes a difference, to me anyway. I get a lot of messages from indignant dominants who are unfortunately beyond that age range. All I can say for them is that there are many more submissives looking for older dominants than looking for younger ones. LH, kudos to you for coming clean about your age. It may seem like a small lie but honesty is paramount when engaging in BDSM activities. Any amount of dishonesty just breeds distrust. You're beautiful and from the responses I've seen, you will find that lucky submissive you're looking for.
