Congratulations! The ring is beautiful :)
My owner did me the honor of making me his wife about year after he brought me to live with him. Shocked the stuffings out of me. I had never wanted to remarry, and was terrified it would somehow change the dynamic.
I don't feel that a collar goes hand and hand with a wedding ring. I feel they are two separate and distinct bonds. However, there are so many legitimate, legal reasons for marriage these days that the benefits really should be heavily weighed *if* those benefits matter to the Master.
