A soliloquy to the thread (and any pussy I can snag)

The quality of Master is not strained.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth her that gives and him that takes.
Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes
The throned monarch better than his crown.
His scepter shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty,
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings.
But mercy is above this sceptered sway;
It is enthroned in the hearts of kings;
It is an attribute of God himself;
And earthly power doth then show like God's
When mercy seasons justice.

Billie Shakespeare (sommat)

greetings to the Masters, Mistresses, subs and slaves here :)

there are still places that both Dominants and slaves can be trained in some things.  here is a link to one that is close to where i live.  i am sure there are others around the country.  Master Taino is a well known and respected Leather Master in the community.

http://masterslavetraining.org/home.htm

but as slaveluci says, and i agree, not all want to/wish to/need to be officially trained to be a good Master for the right submissive or slave.

Ahh, but Faire Maiden, doth protest too much,
Of whispers spoken in darkened hallways.
Is it not the temper of the man,
beyond the temper of his sword.
Steel may hold tight and rarely falter,
But the cage one forms around themselves
at the slightest shread of light
recieved from the words of yon Masters mouth
are bonds that can only break from thy own falter.

GT Now you need to download Alices Restraunt by Arlo Guthrie cause it is a CLASSIC and I can get that damn song stuck in my head for days.

And Arlo's song was a 60's era Anti War Song cause he was Unfit to Kill Hundreds of People cause he had a record for Littering.

GREAT SONG.

I had the LP long after my Player Broke it's last tip and the Stableizer pad wobbled.

Then in a Move the whole Box of LP's got crushed by the couch.

It Sucked.

this is the first time I've heard what the Old Guard was.

Myths are cool.  Facts, though, are even cooler.  Here's a good place to start.

that's actually quite an interesting read. I just let out of classes so I think I might spend a few hours perusing these.

~sighs~ Ok let me try again...being deaf I have first hand experiance in reality and know that the "societal" illusion of perfection doesn't exist.

Better?

ps Would it help to know that from what I've heard hearing friends complain about...I see being deaf as more of a perk then a disability?
