Can someone please send me the memo that states that we are to never have fun, that we are to remain serious at all times, negate enjoying life and live with a set of rules that may or may not fit us as individuals-- I seemed to have never gotten that memo WIITWD is all about relationships at the core. And relationships are individual to the people involved. The last I knew one size never fits all.

I don't think its so much the amount of formal training that attracts me to a man or inspire's my submission but more his willingness to learn where I have been in my life, where I am today and where I hope to go in the future and his willingness to share his life stories and hopes with me. Being deaf I know perfection doesn't exist, so I've never really looked for Mr. Right but maybe more Mr. Right for me. But, then for me D/s is 99% mental and 1% physical. I can and am living without sex but am finding it increasingly difficult to live without that feeling of belonging. And I could be way off base to the original question, if I am I apologize.

Either "Original Post" -- that started the thread, or "Original Poster" -- the person who started the thread. The meaning is usually clear from context.
