With out going into any detail your relationship is in trouble because there is a trust issue that he created. If he can't be honest about something as simple as looking for another submissive then dump him. There are plenty of competent honest Dom's that would gladly take his place. If he is doing energy play and has hidden agendas I would run away very quickly.

silly question, but did you pop off the key and clean it to see if that helps, you may just have something stuck under it
