Interesting link, and not to be argumentative but this study only cathetarized 7 women. Excerpts from the link pretty much lend to what others have said here about female ejaculation vs. urine:
"However, with the total number of women studied being so small, it was impossible to rule out the possibility that some woman somewhere is expelling fluid other than through the urethra. While the current experiment, based upon a review of previous studies, focused on the nature, composition and source of female urethral expulsions during sensual arousal, this researcher was certainly open to observing, capturing and analyzing any expulsions other than from the urethra."

"On four occasions the research team saw evidence of milky-white, mucous-like emissions from the urethra outside of the catheter tube. Although three of those emissions were recorded by the video cameras, the research team was only able to capture a small portion of the fluid for laboratory analysis. An objective reading of the previous literature indicated the possibility of such an emission from the urethral glands and ducts.
In the past, the assumption has been that female urethral expulsions during sensual and/or sexual activity originated either in the bladder or from the urethral glands and ducts. The current study, which documented expulsions originating in the bladder, also indicated the possibility that, in some women, there may also be an emission from the urethral glands and ducts. That possibility seems promising enough to encourage future researchers to employ methodology similar to this study to resolve this age old controversy."
My personal experience relates more to what is described in the following link, which is an excerpt from an 88 page clinical trials document from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey:

"Abstract Female ejaculation has been a topic of debate for more than 50 years. Although there have been many anecdotal reports of expulsion of liquid from the female prostate, rigorous and large-scale studies demonstrating either the existence of the female prostate or the confirmation and nature of the ejaculate have been largely lacking. However, recent careful investigations have confirmed both the existence of semen-like liquid emission and the existence of the female prostate (Skene’s glands) as its primary source."
My personal experience with this is the color, scent, and consistency is vastly different than urine. As for the OP's question on if the sensation is different, for me it is, in that I suddenly feel like my insides are melting and then everything comes pouring out.
