Every time this topic pops up here I highly recommend getting the book, "Female Ejaculation and the G-Spot" by Deborah Sundahl.

Everything you ever wanted to know about it is in this book.

I had never even heard of female ejaculation until a few years ago, and found out about it after trying to research why I felt like I needed to pee during sex. I got her book, used her techniques and the first time I squirted, it was a flood!!

Now I no longer fear that "I need to pee" feeling.

For me to squirt it requires manipulation of a very specific area around the urethral opening. If I squirt once manually and my partner is well endowed, I may squirt again if we fuck later that day. For me it is a stronger build-up with different sensations but I don't get into that "g-spot vs. clit vs. etc etc etc" orgasm thing. They pretty much all involve the clit and them maybe some other stuff. The squirting orgasm itself - well - it usually isn't part of the actual orgasm. It happens for me a few seconds after the actual orgasm subsides, then I have an urge toe bear down - then I squirt, and it's usueally forceful and significant quantity.

I think we really want to believe it's not pee because pee is "ew gross" but really - it's fluid that cam from the urethra by way of the bladder. It's pee.

'Squirting' is the result of a g-spot orgasm (Though, for me, at least, doesn't happen with every g-spot orgasm; g-spot orgasms do tend to be markedly more intense than clitoral orgasms).
It sometimes happens during intercourse (When you'll get a 'gush' of liquid that is different than typical) but that tends to impede the spray effect that a lot of people seem to like.
How to get it? Well, I can't say I've had a partner give it enough of a whirl to achieve mastery (Nor have I dedicated myself to being able to do it consistency via self-play, though that's how I achieved it the first time: totally unintentional then I got concerned about it because I knew if it happened with my ex-, he would be ooged out) but I notice that it happens when there's been a lot of intellectual erotic stimulation along with prolonged manual (Finger or nicely curved toy) stimulation of the g-spot. Also, the greater the pressure on the g-spot along with external pressure against the pubis seems to help.
My ex- found it mortifying but most men that I've been with think that it's hot (Whether or not it happened with them).

Where it comes from is virtually unknown by doctors, they compare it to a sort of female prostate gland that gushes.

Mere pressure in that area sets me off, it is not deep, just cervical pressure does it and I am one soaked brain-goo mess for 3 mins per after gushy. Since it has happened (started 3 yrs ago) it is easier to control, start but not stop. Regular cuming I can somewhat keep my wits about me, this though, I cannot. It is totally different.

Agree that squirting is not necessarily accompanied by orgasm. My Sir can make me squirt by putting his thumb into my vagina and vigorously f*cking me. I'll squirt down to my feet - since i am usually standing when he does this. Doesn't smell like pee, doesn't taste like pee (don't ask!), so may come from the urethra, but isn't necessarily pee - kind of like how a man can pee, and ejaculate from the same tube.

and just for clarification, a man can have semen go backwards into the bladder, so i think it may be fair to say that female ejacuate may also go backwards into the bladder.

Regardless, it is a really interesting sensation and (obviously) occures when i am really aroused.

Squirting for me is wonderful! I squirt from my g-spot being worked. The build up is something that just works my whole body and I tend to be able to handle another O better than when my clit has been worked. I can get kinda greedy when its a g-spot O than a clit...with a clit I wiggle around the bed trying to get out of reach cause I just cant take anymore after one major O.

I went to a couple of workshops on 'female ejaculation'. They say that the fluid comes from the spongy area of the g-spot on the upper side of the urethra and because it passes through the urethra it often feels like you are about to or have just peed yourself. If you feel this area during build up then you will notice that it starts to swell and if you do ejaculate and not pee it will be a white creamy substance that acts as the most fantastic lubricant.
They also have discovered that not all women have this spongy area and so for some women a true ejaculation would be impossible.

My partner and I call it flooding, becuase it's never just a squirt. The thing that I find most interesting for me is that I can't contol it, nor can I reproduce it through masturbation in any form. I most often squirt through vaginal g-spot stimulation, but I do it through anal stimulation as well, which is something I haven't seen mentioned here. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else has had that experience. It is very intense for me and my partner has to make sure that I am either restrained or that he has a very good hold of me, because I have a tendency to flip off the bed and hurt myself due to that intensity. I agree with Cali that it does produce that new found religion and the repeated statements (Oh God, Oh God!).

I have had normal orgasms through anal + vaginal stimulation but have never squirted through anal....yet

I am the opposite of you when I squirt in that I don't need restraining or start calling out other than to say 'ok here comes the big one'!

And to answer one of the questions back there, I have done it on my own quite a few times, including the first time I did it........ and that was a flood! I was sitting in my computer chair trying to achieve my first ejaculation, using a Gspot toy, watching Mark Davis do his thing on Sexandsubmission.com

That's a good point and no you don't but just like a tantric orgasm is almost impossible to explain, squirting is something I find very hard to describe.
