He collared me after a month. We're going on five years, so I guess him breaking all the rules didn't matter. Luckily for me, the only rules he cares about is his. If you collar the first day and you wind up together for 20 years, then it was the right thing to do. If you collar after 3 years and break up a week later, then it was the wrong thing to do. You can only decide what's wrong or right here by looking at how long that specific relationship lasts.

I guess I didn't clarify this enough but I mean't logic aswell as emotion when I said when it feels right for the both of you I was implying that the sub and Dom have known each other for sometime and that it fealt at the right time. Does that makes sense?

It's going to be what ever works for the people involved, some may never progress to that point either depending on how the dynamics of their relationship go. The words mean nothing. The person behind them is a lot more important. If she calls me sir, master, my name, or you fucking bastard doesn't matter to me. (Actually, you fucking bastard at the right time is music to my ears.) The name she needs to use is the one that has the best effect on her. If sir makes you wet, it's the right one to use.

When I was born I had to learn how to crawl, then walk... and finally run. It is similar here, yes I consider Myself Dominant, but I also know that I am far away from being a Master yet. It is My goal and it must be earned. Also, I have never had any Master or Mistress look down at Me because I was new to the lifestyle, rather they are always willing to teach Me that which I do not know yet. Guidance from them makes My transition all the more important to Me for I look up to them not as better then Me but as equals who know more and have what I want to learn. I have also had Masters come to Me and say thank You for teaching Me that. This is the true sign of a Master/Mistress... always teachable. So for now I am very happy with Sir or MisterP...Even MP. As long as I strive for betterment, one day I will achieve the Title of Master. MP
