Would you believe them when they said they had been sick and then out of town and busy and stuff? God, I don't know what to do...the guy I had a one night stand with a few months ago got online today and IMed me...I haven't heard from him in ages...only twice after we met and had sex...once the next day and then once like...4 weeks later, I think. Do I trust him? Or is he just going to hurt me again? I don't know if he is using me or not...

-- a guy has to come to his own conclusion. it takes men abit longer to go for the real thing. they/we dont have the capacity to easily decipher what love is. ild say talk to the guy- but dont put out sex. if he sticks around long enuff he is serious- if not- no loss. but it is on YOU to decide what is acceptable to you. when i moved i purposely decided no one is going to use me in my house. i wont stand for it. therfor i cut off 1 or 2 players- it was fun when i was a renter- but i dont want memories of the user type right here not at the current time. as an adult- YOU can decide what you will and wont accept. so that is who will in the end decide what your guildines are.

I'm sorry youre upset. And I am sorry the guy hurt you. You did, however, say it was a one night stand. Me personally, I wouldnt really let it phase me that he had dropped outta sight for a while. Thats what one night stands do. Now, if you guys had some kinda romantic relationship, bf/gf what have you, then I would be concerned and want some answers. Either way sweetie, never put too much stock into a one night stand. Yes, he may have been using you. Yes he may hurt you again. But thats the rules of the game...
