ORIGINAL: bipolarber The fault lies, NorthernGent, in the leader who sent them there. Not with the troops who are doing their duty. No chance...absolutely no chance...these soldiers make a choice.......they have the information at hand. Tough bollocks; they're killing people......."I was only following orders" wasn't good enough for Hitler's crowd and it's not good enough here. Assuming an individual went to school, he/she will understand that armies get involed in wars, and you're going to kill people - they'll understand that Americans have superior firepower, too. Millions of people displaced, killed, starved etc. These soldiers are total bullies. The leaders are part of the story - the leaders get their power from your average man on the street - the old adage: you get the government you deserve. A perfect example of why Europe is underspending on it's own defense, and pretty much relying (the UK excepted ... partially) for the American "foreign killer mecenaries" to protect them, so that they can pour their national resources into socialist economic welfare systems that hinders their ability to remain a vibrant force of civilization, and will ultimately result in their slow cultural and political destruction. I feel no need to defend our troops from a decadent and dying society. My revenge will occur over time as your nation sinks even lower into the morass of national indifference and cultural extinction. *shrugs* Or, when the US finally decides that the growing ungrateful and snotty populations of Europe should be given exactly what they say they want ... a world where the US stays within its borders and allows China, Russia, North Korea, and every other tin-pot nation which does spend more than a pittance on their military to dictate your continent's foreign, economic and public policies. Slavery is great afterall, isn't it? Firm
