Funny, Braveheart was the first one that crossed my mind... and it's on the list! But how can 2001 be inaccurate?

I think 2001 is there as a little joke... It says it is inaccurate because it is now 2008 and we dont have manned missions to Jupiter and we arnt fighting against a computer...

"What are you doing, Dave?"

Wasn't 300 based on a graphic novel? So it was innacurate to the book? Or do you mean historically innacurate to the battle?
I'm going to go PERVE kittin's profile now.......LOL

300 was all very cute, but it's an adaptation of Frank Miller's book - nobody can say it's an accurate description of the battle of the Termophylae, can they?

Perve away, but don't forget to leave a note that you were there ;-) .

Amusingly enough, the TV series Rome is one of the least inaccurate ones.

Not entirely on-topic, but an interesting contrast.

Health,
al-Aswad.

Oh, and don't forget "Cruising" with Al Pachino.
Or "The Ten Commandments" (pure fantasy!)
Or "The Bible"
Or 1776

The Matrix, however, is probably one of the most accurate movies, ever!

Titanic... good one: I mean the film is set in 1912, but Leonardo Di Caprio wasn't born until 1970 something. A glaring anachronism  .

Yeah, that was my point of asking the op what they meant by "innacurate"

I will be sure to leave a note for ya-OD

My guess is that too many consider 'JFK' a documentary which is why it didn't make the list.
