What a great idea....shower sex is a lot of fun anytime, but i can certainly see where this would both provide the fun...and help prevent a mess!! I too do not want to go 7 days without sex...Thanks for the tip.

In my experience, the most convenient thing to do is put down a depends (or equivalent). These are the plastic-backed moisture absorbent disposable towels you can buy at the drug or discount stores which are very handy for many kinds of play. 
I personally relish any kind of activity with a woman during that time of the month; whether oral, penetration, or both, regardless of the sequence of events. I've also serviced women by helping them change tampons or pads in the bathroom. I've also applied warm water with a spray bottle to help them feel clean and fresh. To me, like goodmanners said, it can be a very intimate kind of experience sharing something with a woman that a man alone cannot have any idea of what it is like. So to pleasure a woman sexually or ease her symptoms through massage, refloxology, or by any other means she desires is something that brings me closer to her and is something I will readily do. 
I don't find it humiliating in the least. To me her menstrual cycle is a perfectly natural thing for her body to do. If anything what I've found is that women generally have more hang-ups about their bodies and its functions than I do. This is something I personally find to be very sad. It seems a crime to me that so many women have been raised unable to view and accept their bodies for all that nature intended them to be without feeling great shame for the natural functions that occur each month inside of them. So many feel espially dirty each time their cycle comes around that they just want to hide, even when its perfectly natural to occur, just as nature intended it to be! 
So I do my best to make them feel as comfortable with their bodies as I know how along with reminding them that they're still sexy to me and that I still want them in any manner that they'll allow. Plus I try to educate them that by being intimate, I can help relieve them of any discomfort they may have, if they'll just relax and let themselves enjoy. If that isn't enough to do the trick, I know many other ways that I can try to further relieve those kinds of discomforts that I will apply. But its up to the woman and what she is open to. Some have really been conditioned that they are not to be touched and somehow deserve to go through this each and every month.
