My numbers are small, but I've only known one man who was a squemish about sex during red tide. Personally I don't get it, a towel on the bed, sex in the shower or tub, it's not a big deal and for me, deep slow penetration is the best fix for cramps known to man... er.. or woman. It's a bit messy, but for lots of women, our libedos amp up when we are on our periods, all emotions including lust are amplified. It would make me personally very VERY sad to never get any, consistantly, for 1/4th of the month. That might even be a deal breaker for me if they were completed squicked out with consistancy at that time of the month.

Now, as to how many were comfy going down on me during red tide? Just one, and honestly I was the one who struggled to be comfortable in that situation.

While Valyraen has no issue using me during my cycle, he draws the line at providing oral during it. Which I'm quite happy with. I get nervous enough about the upkeep down there during the other three weeks of the month!

I remember the first time, she said she had a long day and might nt feel like having sex that night, and I said something like "its ok, I've got my period and don't really feel like it anyway..."... her whole face lit up and she HAD to have me....

The statement probably referred to the fact that vagina's naturally drip and leak out all sorts of fluids..... bacterial infections and yeast infections are common....... Pretty much........ vagina's are damn dirty with all sorts of natural bacterica, yeast and other crap floating around in it.

On top of that........ there's shaving or keeping it trim.... then there are an assortment of oders that might come from it.... depending on what you've eaten and how much (or how little) yeast and bacteria is floating around in it. OR even if you've gotten some other not normal bacteria up inside of it. (remember girls, always pee after sex)

There are also a million things can affect the highly sensitive dirty area down there. Wash with TOO much soap and you might screw it up..... douche too often you might scew it up..... take a bubble bath you might screw it up... have any sort of penetration you might screw it up

Its a high maintence job that never ends.

I'm amazed at the response to my question! Thank you everyone!

Like a lot of women, I cannot help but feel 'dirty' or unsanitary during my period. I wasn't brought up to think this way, but I have picked it up from somewhere. At this moment in time I would be too embarrassed to be intimate in any way during it.

To be honest I am jealous of the women in the lives of those who have responded positively. To be made to feel beautiful and natural and feminine and sexy during your period should be a rule, and kudos to those who want to provide that.

It's a topic I'm thinking through, hence the question. Thank you all for giving me food for thought.
