Let's suppose for a second that you only have this electronic connection to pique your interest.  I'd be curious to hear what those things are that get your attention through the screen.  Is it something in particular that you see in a picture?  Is it a commonality that you see in a profile, such as a particular kink?  Is it a phrase that you use often that you see someone else use in their writings?  Is it an attitude?  Is it their location?

OK.  That's enough options.  I'm interested in that thing that reaches out and grabs you through the world of CM.

If I see a picture on a profile that makes me wonder if he knows how to beg with his eyes.

The first thing I notice in photographs is a person's eyes.

Also, finding out that they're military men helps.  If they think they've been to boot camp they ain't seen nothing yet...

...I cackled again.  Ow.

A picture that is artistic and offers a sense of mystery. Then, intelligence and thoughtful responses on the forums. Finally, an attitude that shows that they are proud of who and what they are.

A well done picture that doesn't include his cock hanging out. A well written profile that explains what he is looking for and his interests inside BDSM and outside. I look at location and I also look for humor. I gotta have a guy with a sense of humor or we would never make it lol.

I can't help it...I'm shamelessly attracted to an athletic physique...a sub male who looks like he has physical strength is a real turn on for me. Then of course he must be able to put together full sentences and demonstrate sincere humility in his profile. YUM!

That's what captures my initial attention at least...

It's the eyes that get me. I have to see something in them; a light, a sparkle of mischief or sharp intelligence, a bit of mystery, a little melancholy, wistfulness.... whatever, as long as it's intriguing.

I prefer a picture that looks like it is taken from meatlife and which shows the person having fun.

Much like the message I hope my own picture communicates.

By the way, in my current picture I'm kneeling by our old couch where Fox is laying down covered in cupcakes I made for his birthday a few years ago.

It starts out with a picture--a nice one taken by someone else at some vanilla activity--not naked, not arrogant, not sprawled in panties, legs open like the Grand Canyon---a well written profile, not too long and not too short--and do not copy and paste your profile into an email and call that a petition---I'd rather see you like" flea markets" versus "You may tear my ass to shreds with your strapon"---and then conversations about things other than sex and the do me list--an interest in Me as a person--and no arrogance, none of the "oh yeah, i can do xxx, or i did xxx, or i am an expert in xxx", open ended questions--how do you....,what is...tell me about...I mean I ask those why can't you??

I am turned off by an immediate phone number, turned off by talk of tongues and talent, turned off by lists of expertise that do not demonstrate a lick of common sense.

Well, from a male slave's point of view, I like profiles that are, you know, human.  All you can managed to type is, "ON YOUR KNEES PITIFUL PIGGY SLAVE AND SEND ME CHECK AND/OR MONEY ORDER TO [Insert Address here] FOR TOTAL DOMINATION AND HUMILIATION VIA EMAIL AND CAM" or "it is worthless slave, won't YOU please own it?"then I will stop taking you seriously.  If all the pictures of you are based around your breasts, your feet, your legs, your behind, your genitalia, or attempts at seduction via sluttiness, then I will stop taking you seriously.  If all you seem to desire in life is sex, then I will stop taking you seriously.  If you act like a caricature, then you will be treated like one.

What I enjoy?  I enjoy when people seem genuine.  A sense of humor in a profile is always great.  Vanilla pictures are wonderful.

I don't really care about pics. I'll look at them, but unless I find the person trully revolting, I won't mind them so much.
For Me, it's going to be what the person says. If the email is self indulgent, down the crap chute it goes. If it's not, then I'll keep looking.

What I will really notice is the language and the things the guy says. If he sounds articulate or not. I like smart men, so when they contact Me, I make them talk.

I don't settle, as with anything some things are negotiable but I get the major points of what I want or I walk away its that simple. I'm secure enough to be alone and know that I will meet someone eventually. People who "settle" are usually the ones who end up with a life of regrets and I don't want that for myself.

Question for you, do you really think we are asking a lot and if so, would you "settle" for a sub who didn't quite meet your needs/wants/desires?

A picture and some sort of description of how he spends his time, such as his type of work, hobbies, interests beyond bdsm.
