Status: offline 		My Master has recently instructed me that I am now barred from all forms of communication with any other human being but Him. This includes verbal communication, written communication, sign language, morse code, enigma machine, flag signalling, or long distance drum beating.

When encountering another human being I must stand demurely with my hands by my sides, eyes down cast and be completely mute. This includes vanilla life, work, family events, out shopping and all realms of human contact which I have previously enjoyed.

I will only ever be able to communicate with My Master or with women I am procurring for Him toreplace the others who escape from Him. I will be granted some forms of communication with close friends of His but only after they have submittted anally to Him or passed an intensive written examinatiuon.

My Master informs me that this is plain good sense, a common Ds practice and any person who does not see the inherant benefit is clearly a fake and not a Truse Master or true submissive.

This is my last message to the world... typed using my nose... signing off now ...

In all seriousness though I agree that cutting someone off from the rest of the world can be a sign of an unhealthy relationship.  But you speak in such absolutes and you condemn brutality of any sort, and call submission a precious gift.  I don't want to go into that debate because it's different for everyone but you certainly have the "one twue way" thing going on.

Also I'd like to comment on this part of your post.

Exactly!!! But to me this means that we all have to communicate to our partners about what it is that WE want.  Not what some messageboard full of people tell us we should want.  Only I can know if I am happy in my Master/slave relationship in which I have no control over who I talk to, flirt with or fuck.

See my problem is always how to wrap it, is a red bow going over board?

Honestly though I know that in the past I have used the "im not allowed" excuse purely because I couldnt think of a better excuse and didnt want to be rude. Problem is each person has their own relationship and has whatever works for them for whatever reason, some people like these rules. One of my problems with it is that it can reinforce the idea that s types can only talk to D types with the view to some kind of thing happening, which is sad I think. Saying that though I cant think of many D types that I am friends with purely as a friend, that I have never had any interest in.

Status: offline 		No, domah, it's not okay.  That's what the little "report entry" button is for on each journal entry. After you click it, choose the option that says "criticism of a specific user" as the reason for reporting it.  Well, actually, both entries that violate TOS.

And after perusing said profile and journal, I think the answers are crystal clear on why this is happening to the OP ("this" meaning people not being allowed to talk to him).

Status: offline 		Though there are parts of this post that I find to be utter bs, I'm going to answer seriously anyway.

I'm very glad that the OP put in that little disclaimer in black.  (Personally, I like purple, so I'm not going for the dig on that.)  For Myself, I have to differentiate on certain forms of protocol in training.  None of us wants a sub who doesn't understand the difference in the ultimate service being to 'their' Dominant when faced with situations where they might be torn in helping others.  Take something as simple as lighting a cigarette or refilling a glass.  Protocol demands that My boy attend to My needs first, unless we are specifically the guest of the Lady of the manor.  

This is something entirely different than communication restrictions.  There are none of us here who would be blind to place certain restrictions on a sub in the event of predators.  This tends more to be true in the case of a Dom with a female sub who might be new to the lifestyle.  Of course, some girls are more able to be watchful of themselves than others.  Still, it is a Dominant's right to protect them from being prey.

In My own case, there have been times that I have specifically instructed My boy that communications with another should go through Me.  This is two-fold and has absolutely nothing to do with fear of his place with Me.  For one, it shows that he will obey Me over and above that of another Domme.  For two, it gives Me the opportunity to evaluate his understandings of the way I want social contacts to be handled.
