I don't know... how's a 45 year old woman supposed to feel?

maybe I won't get to leave that beautiful corpse after all.

That used to be a line I frequently uttered... in my yoof, but it's funny how my youthful morbidity kind of vanished with the advancing years  .

Being a massage therapist for years and elbow deep in massage oil, I have always said that I said that I am going to leave a shriveled up corpse  with silky smooth arms and hands!

Can't you stand in a bucket of oil as you work? At least like that all four limbs will be silky smooth!

Well, I'm 50 TODAY!

Yesterday at my doctor appointment, he threw the "C" word at me.....say it, popeye.....the dreaded colonoscopy.  I'm not going to feel very damn good after that, now, am I?

But, overall, I feel okay.  Sucks getting old sometimes, but I'm having a good time!  Heading out to my party.....have a good night, everyone!

Awww Windchymes!

Have a good one!!

I don't think I feel 32, I like being in my 30's, but then again I have heard the phrase "kids today ..." come out of my mouth a few times & it only makes me mildly sick...eeek

And it'll be a loooooooooooong time before I buy a Buick!

Didn't you buy a Mercury Grand Marquis? i hate to say it, but there's really no difference!

i don't know what age i feel. Some days i think i'm just a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old with a credit card. Some days i feel like an old fart, grousing about "the good old days". i can't believe it's been ten years since i graduated from college... Not reproducing has allowed me to stay pretty damned immature for my age

Dave, lol, many "older" people do buy Mercurys but, "real old people" buy Buicks.
You know, the type that walk in and pay "cash."

DD, welcome aboard!
Which Tartan is that in your picture?
Yeah, warm weather is good for the soul.
I moved down here from New Hampshire and don't regret it one bit.

I'm 57 but I don't feel it.
It's kind of like it snuck up on me.
Sure, I have aches and pains like everyone else but I can basically do what I want.
And my sex drive has always been very high.
I think I "peaked" at 45 not 17 like they say males do.
I try to keep an open mind about "most" things and I think that helps keep you feeling young.
I look at a lot of other guys my age and they "look" 57. They act it too.
Ha, and I've been told that too, "act your age!"
As jaded as I am I can still  have the amazement of a little boy when I see a gorgeous sunset or looking up at the stars at night!
I guess I just "think" that way.
And when looking at women I think some women in their 60's and 70's are hot just like women in their 20's.
What say you?

As someone who religiously dedicates up to two-and-half hours--every single day---to physical fitness /strength/ conditioning - No, I don't feel much different than I did ten-fifteen years ago. But the mental aspect is a whole different ball game.

I'm 53 and most people think I'm about 40. That I think, is down to my fair hair(still blond and oh soo young looking) and I'm going to Berlin in the morning (Hmm 5 hours time) and seeing a woman who is 38 who thinks I'm cute.

I'm 49, but people tell me all the time "Gris, you don't look a day over 48, 11 months, 26 days" (and I believe 'em).

Nowhere close. I dont look it and I certainly dont feel it.
I go out to bars with Angel (23) and Kitten (21) and *I* get carded.
I have a 20 - almost 21- year old partner, who acts and has been mistaken for older than me.
And at 31, I still get asked for ID at the casinos when I go home to visit.
I am more active and more adventerous now than I was when I was Fox's age. I am helping Angel train for the military testing. Being happy makes it far easier to stay young.

I love looking young, I'll love it even more as I get older. I have looked essentialy the same since I was 18.

What a cute topic, Popeye!
Normally, I feel a good 10 years younger than my actual age.

I enjoy naps several days a week, but I usually don't nap more than 1-2 hours.
I have a job, in which I am very active, moving and walking.

Physically, I don't feel much different than I did in my early 30's.
I think I look at least 5-8 years younger, and that is also a good thing!

I turn 45 on Sunday.......my arthritis reminds me of it every day!  My mental image is still perky, though, and of course my fabulous babeosity improves by the day.
