i dont act my age, i dont look my age , i dont dress my age. the thought of it makes me sick. i dance for hours , play with make-up and dress up just to see myself in the mirror. i sneak up on the UMs and  tell you're it and take off running. i watch silly cartoons .young people tell me my music is too loud.
i'm a geriatric nurse. life is long when you spend 10 -20 years in a nursing home with dementia , alzheimers, in a wheelchair most of your waking hours. i'm going to have fun and love and just enjoy every moment good or bad till that day comes for me.

Do I feel my age? When I find out what 45almost46 is supposed to feel like........I will answer. I honestly haven't a clue.

I am too busy loving life to think about it much actually.

hmmm what does 56 feel and look like..I still look and feel like....well... like me.

Some days, my body feels like I fell out of a tree, but when I was younger, I felt like that most of the time anyway. Only difference is, I'm not usually climbing the tree to fall out of these days.

I still enjoy a few activities that sometimes end up with me falling and I've noticed something major, not about me, but about the ground...it sure has gotten harder when ya fall these days..I think there's something up with that and surely needs to be addressed. <Hmmm....Wonders if there are any patents in progress to rubberize the ground>

Do I feel my age, well, in short answer nope, I never did and recent happenings in my life hath shown me to be younger than I first thought.

Maybe  it is that the body does age, a machine perhaps that has a finite life, but what drives the mind to feel, that is the true age of us as we quest in life that which we need to find.

I'm 36.  Some days, especially when with my UM's or My Lord, I feel 18.  Some days, especially on my day off after a week of 18 hours of OT, I feel much, much older.  The upside is that most folks tell me I don't look old enough to have an adult daughter.  When my daughter graduates (ONE MONTH!!)I'll be the youngest, hottest looking mom there.  When my youngest graduates, I'll be 40.  I figure I still got a lot of miles on the old girl.

I really feel my age... feel so old!

mind you a lot of my friends have kids in school now, which freaks me out....

I keep getting told that I'm young and whole life ahead, blah blah. I feel old!

I LOVE being the age I am!! I am in good health, still look fairly decent, can do most of the stuff I could 20 years ago. AND I am a grandma and can actually play with the two little terrors.

Life is good!
