Nope...definitely not feeling the age! Someone asked me the other day how old I was....I had to stop and think about it.....or maybe that was CRS! I still love zoos, roller coasters and amusement parks, arcades, cartoons...the old ones, that is...today's cartoons suck! It was great when my son was younger....then I had him as an excuse for me buying the Disney movies, hitting the playgrounds and parks, mini-golf and go carts.....of course, I never needed an excuse before...don't need one now. I've never been the "mom" that sitsw on the sidelines while my son went out to play....I was right in there with him! Most people my age that I know are stodgy folks. They don't see the magic and wonder in stargazing, or watching the monkeys play at the zoo, nor do they want to hop on the roller coasters! I've always gravitated to younger people, in pretty much all of my relationships of life. Just the other day, I did the math to figure out how old my parents were......they are out driving a semi over the road, they've each retired from 2 jobs already....my dad just turned 72, my mom will be 67....and she wouldn't even shoot me for telling her age! Longevity seems to run in our family, so I'm looking forward to a few more good years! I can't think of them as old.....they were younger than a lot of my friends parents, and they still go non-stop with their lives.
