You know... something just occured to me...

There are lots of ways of furthering any particular cause. And your way, OP, is not the only way. CM provides a place for people to get together and talk. It lets people who are completely out share their stories with people who aren't ready yet and it gives hope and resources for those who would like to be completely out. In doing this, CM helps people live more open lives, which allows for more "vanilla" people to realize that their children, parents, best friends, teachers, employees, bosses, etc are kinky, happy and are still the wonderful people that they always were.

CM is definately helping in a quiet but effective way. If you want something with more fireworks, invest the money, time and energy and learn how to make your own site. Organize real time events and make an effort to reach out to the community. Write a book. But don't pass the buck.

That is his right, he doesn't even have to tell you WHY he does not allow it, although thru the grapevine here people have extended you the courtesy of trying to explain those reasons.  And now you're trying to argue with those reasons, when in fact, Joe Schmoe doesn't have to have a reason at all.  Heck, he could say "no pictures of people wearing blue shoes" and that would be his right too.

Yet  this site allows itself to be deterred form allowing EVERY ASPECT of the lifestyle to be written or shown.  Have you ever tried to change a law? This is shit we've been working on for years. There's no "Allowing itself to be deterred" There are sides to BDSM that are illegal to post pictures of unless you have copious amounts of paperwork to back it. Other forms are just illegal, period, and thats the hard truth.
