OK OK so Jurassic Park is on TNT and it scares the crap out of me every time.  Yes, I'm a goof.  And I even turn the volume WAY up when the T-Rex comes stomping along making everything shake.

What movies scare you that you have no shame in admitting?  We won't laugh...honest.

OMG I remember that movie!

The first time I saw The Shining, I was 15 and babysitting for someone's baby for the first time.  Not a good idea!!

Evil Dead, the scene where the women is raped by trees. Saw it when I was 8 years old, it may be the reason for my sadistic behavior but, I don't mind.

Oh geeze, that scared the crap out of me, too, and I was 18 when I saw it.

Another one was Demon Seed.  A woman is raped by an alien robot or something and gives birth to something really horrific.  I was a kid when I saw it.

I liked "carrie", it made me laugh.

I think it may have to do with my teen angst in really despising my high school.

I can't think of any silly movies which scared me, but the original Halloween did give me nightmares. A movie which I was expecting to scare me but which just pissed me off was The Village.

I thought Halloween was dorky and was surprised as hell it didn't scare me.  Especially since I scare so easily.

I never saw the Village.

When I was about 10 or so, there were always Friday the 13th marathons on all night long every month there happened to be one. I watched those religiously, and got the usual subsequent nightmares. But really, movies don't tend to bug me too much. If this thread were about video games... man, I could tell you some hilarious stories about me braving the dark after playing demos of Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.

Tremors!!

That movie is the sole reason that I MUST have my feet up on the couch, AND covered in a blanket, while watching a scary movie.
