I like Solace and VAS, Hossam Ramzy, Patsy Cline, Loreena McKennitt......
The only thing I know about Marilyn Manson is that Dita Von Teese is gonna marry him.

If I use music, I will do the driving beat stuff while I flog, then switch to classical when she spaces, then love songs during aftercare. Each stage is different and the music is varied because of that.

Why are they attracted to the same music? Why does leather have to be black? Uniformity sometimes reassures people, that is the best I can come up with at this hour of the morning!

ROFL...i was speaking tongue in cheek, but Tristan is right; the Cleveland area is mostly eastern europeans and live polka music is available in lots of places.

Personally i am scottish and think the bagpipes sound like someone being tortured...LOL.

To Tristan,

Americans are going to think this is REALLY PERVERSE, but i'm fascinated by your hometown of Cleveland Tristan! It must have something to do with Pere Ubu, natives of The Flats, who i loved in my teens and still love now. Also, i really like denuded industrial landscapes, and Terminal Tower is one of the best early skyscrapers in the states!

Some of the things on my WinAmp player:

Chicago, Limp Bizket, Keane, Sarah Slean, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Kelly Levesque, Lorenna McKennit, Maroon 5, Enya, Melissa Ethridge, Marvin Gaye, Poe, Queen, Queen Latifa, Bette Midler, Ben Folds, Jewel, Handel (Yeah, the old, classical Handel), Bach, some Irish Folk music, Celine Dion...

Like someone else said... "Shall I go on?" I have over 130 hours of music on there...lol. I won't bore you with EVERY artist.

Do I like Manson, Cooper, NIN, Pumpkins? Yeah, of course I do. I like pretty much everything but the old (70's and beyond) country, and techno. In fact, I even have my WinAmp on shuffle when it plays. It's great to never know what is going to play next...lol

Be a great day!

And I'm sorry, but in my opinion, Marilyn Manson doesn't hold a candle to Alice Cooper, the original "shock rock jock". *grin*

Ahhhh.....Alice Cooper. That was the very first concert i ever attended. Welcome to my Nightmare. First time for acid also...

God grant me the serentity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.

I'd quote who said it but I don't have the Sinead O'Conner CD here to do so. :-)

My all time favorite music is heavy metal.
And my favorite band is Blue Oyster Cult....
How can you not love a band with song titles like:
I am the one you warned me of
Dominance and submission
and
Harvest of eyes ....
LOL

This is the "Serenity Prayer". Nobody knows who wrote it, or when, but it came into serious common useage through Bill W and Alcoholics Anonymous.

ok time 2 put my 2 cents in.... its free dont complain... in this comunity it is suposed to be open and accepting of others, not harsh and critical..... " to each their own kink"... no matter what gets them off! the key??? OPEN YOUR MINDS! live and let live, what is right for one could well be wrong for another, however this in no way makes one right or wrong. it makes us all INDIVIDUALS. UNIQUE. after all no one is the same, we are all unique individuals. we all have our own likes and dislikes, our own kinks... enjoy them... life is too short to take so seriouse.... no one ever gets out alive.

I grew up on free jazz, and while I spent much of my youth listening to horrible noise and industrial new wave, now that I'm more settled and raising a family, I am listening to mainly free jazz which has a nostalgic, homey feel to me.

Music for me all depends on my mood or the mood in which I want to get to. The political views of the artists are not important to me.

Sincerely,

Hello There,
I go to public events often and have never heard the bands you mention played. Maybe it's just the preference of the places you happen to attend.
Sincerely,
