Saw him live once and was pretty impressed that his 30 mins of noise managed to be too much for the Einsturzende Neubaten crowd at the Hacienda. Never had another chance as he was latter banned from playing in London for "political" reasons. Interesting guy though, and an important figureof the Industrial Culture scene of the late 70's early 80's.

Whitehouse were even more directly connected to the BDSM scene, but they could be too much for even me...the first time I saw them actually physically attacking members of the audience leaving many in fear for their safety and one girl in tears.

it is called doom metal...from a band called My Dying Bride....this is one of their more calm romantic songs

Status: offline 		for me it's gotta be gangsta rap ,although i have to admit a major lust factor here.  i'd be bitch for 50cent or dre any day [if my Lord permitted which is almost as unlikely as the rappers fancying me!]  though recently i've been getting more into the women rappers...missy elliott and lady of rage are my faves
for fantastic music with a pagan/gothy flavour Inkubus Sukkubus are wonderful...especially the album 'Wytches'

So, yeeaaah, I am first impressed that a 2 year old topic is still circulating.  I am secondly impressed that there is a bdsmy type of music.  How did I miss that in the rule book?? I went to the store and looked under ‘B’ for bdsm and didn’t find anything.  Maybe that’s because people will listen to whatever they like for whatever reason whenever and for whatever they may be doing at the moment.  Lastly, I am appalled that I responded to this thread.  But I needed to mock something today.

Status: offline 		De gustabus non disputandem. I think Marcus Aurellius, circa 200 BC. Meaning: of taste there is no arguing. Thank God, this world is large enough for all kinds of music, food, clothing styles etc.

I had a brief interest in Zappa around age 14, was past it by the time I entered college. I can smile tolerantly when it comes on the radio, but not interested in listening to it again. As far as scene music, nothing with vocals please. Soft jazz fills in the background and there aren't any other voices but his for me to focus on.

In the car I listen to country. I'm too old to listen to little boys posturing how big and bad they are and how desperate they are to get laid. Country frequently includes songs reflecting where I am in my life. Alan Jackson's tune about teaching his daughters to drive was big the same year I was teaching my oldest to drive. Believe me, I related to that in spades.
